Her winning Best Dance Recording against white people was actually impressive tbh. If u think about it, she hasnt won too many awards against white people.

You guys gotta stop acting like it's personal versus the board just being boring in taste and flavour. The Grammy's is not a critic award. 

I think she wont have a choice now, if she submits they will continue to be over the top with these ''most wins in Grammy history'' crap that doesn't mean anything which is actually more annoying and disrespectful than not winning AOTY so many times. It's like laughing in her face by saying shut up, you have your R&B wins that will add up anyway. 

 

Drake has the right attitude with the Grammys. I dont even like him but he is the only rapper who truly made a statement and stood by it year after year.

 

My biggest problem with Bey and Jay showing up whenever they nominate them is the free publicity and it's huge publicity given to an institution still so stuck in their ways. Also by Bey not winning AOTY she makes the award even more worthy because people now say it's the only award she cant win, so whoever wins it profits from it even more. It's just a really bad situation all around. As a fan i'm so exhausted by it all and really wish Bey would make a bold statement once and for all.

Ive said it a million times but Beyonce will always have a hard time because she is too adventurous with genre for the average listener. Not just Grammy's wise but also where the GP is concerned. As much as we love her bold, Avant Garde ass... The average Grammy listener preferers easily digestible mono genre music then an album that is disco/afro beats/hiphop/trance/house etc... Or ST which jumps from Sia pop ballad, to trip hop/alt, to trap anthem. Lemonade is no different. 

 

The thing that all of the winning albums have in common is that they are linear adult contemporary. This nothing to do with Bey personally and everything to do with the demographic base of Grammy voter's. Harry was a fairly obvious pick, I'm sure my Dad would also pick his album over Rennaisance

Tbh, most people really dont care that much. If you look at the headlines for the Grammys, Beys historic 32nd win is highlighted, not her losing AOTY again. So its kinda whatever for the GP who are very unaware of these things.
