The OTR version of Naughty Girl will always be amazing, she should never cut that song it would never happen but I’m sick of hearing CIL and want it GONE. and remove Feeling Myself and Flawless it doesn’t have the same oomf like it used to.

The set list is always going to look dreary and tired when it doesn’t have any Renaissance songs on it. 

 

I’m glad she didn’t give Dubai the exclusive first performances of those songs. 

 

She gave them a tired, dry set list and collected her check. At least she did something right in this  debacle. 

 

What I can’t get my head around is her releasing an album championing LGBT rights and then performing for the first time since its release in Dubai  Does that mean our fave would be willing to throw our gay asses under the bus to collect a check? I don’t like it but what can we do. 

 

I’m an bi top anyway so I can play both sides. But all you gay bottoms would be f’ed

Yall Im That Girl has aged the best for me.  Not saying its my favorite on the album but whenever i listen to it, it still sounds so fresh.  Its funny after half a year i can still find deeper appreciation for different songs.  I cant even imagine how good acts 2 and 3 are.

Sadly true. I love the feeling myself choreo but she needs to cut it.

That’s a whole fairy tale, I’ll give you feeling myself but the Top off into 7/11 with the stepping was a highlight to watch.

My theory for her doing Flawless remix/feeling myself/top/7/11 at coachella is she wanted to show that trap music could be played with traditional instruments. I personally wouldn't have chosen those songs but I believe that may have been the thinking behind that section

How do we know she didn't have this event booked before even recording renaissance? That would explain why the setlist is all old stuff. In any event, I don't think she's meaning any harm to anyone. I mean, Kylie Minogue was just hosting and performing in the exact same place over New Years and I don't remember anyone here throwing a fit and we all know she's an even bigger gay icon than Bey. Bey probably charged them and arm and a leg for an only 1 hour performance because she's using that money to fund a very gay Rena tour lol. When you look at it that way, it's kind of a flex. This Dubai interlude will be a blip by the time the tour gets underway.
