My family has a perfume brand in the UAE. And it’s the brand that’s everywhere in the Atlantis hotel (the OG one, not this weekend’s) for the guests.. Basically my parents are invited all year long to these kind of events because that’s really common in Dubai. A new spot opens LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE DAY. My brothers and I always decline… because we just don’t care tbh… however they know my love for Bey and I kept on asking them for… I believe a good week now “please check if you were invited to something on these dates please please please” and they played me “no we were not, we heard about nothing, sorry but not this time that’s unfortunate” and yesterday they called me saying I have my flight booked  (I live in Paris) + appartement at the Atlantis Royal and that they were only joking with me when saying they did not hear about nothing. 
 

tried to make it short sorry guys… but I’m so happy… my heart is going very fast I’m not even kidding… and I think my English is a disaster with all that “good stress” I’m feeling now so sorry.

Unless she’s back to performing like the Beyonce experience/Wynn again, she can honestly just keep her live performances from now on. She’s just not that good anymore. Those “vocals” just don’t do it for me anymore

Yes I will! The Royal is full of guests here for the event this weekend. We have a big schedule from tomorrow until Sunday with lunchs/dinners/luxury houses presentation, shows… lots of stuff going on with lots of gifts/surprises for all guests of this WE.

I was friends with another Hive at the time (high school) and I remember neither of us caring, we thought it was dumb. More devastating to him was Bey's SB not beating Madonna's in the ratings.

A complete nontroversey, people just wanted to find a reason to come for Bey it wasn't a big deal to me.

Quite a few singers defended her because singing live in the frigid conditions is rare and for something as important as that occasion a lot of people don't want to chance anything going wrong.

 

Then she did the National Anthem live at the SB press conference (which, confession time, I thought sounded kinda bad) and completely knocked her halftime show out of the park, so people moved on

It was talked about A LOT for like 48 hours then she performed at the Super Bowl + announced a tour and no one cared about it anymore  

 

i’d say her hair cut a few months later was more controversial imo

That's not fair on her though. We know she always give her best but you can't expect her to be always be as good as she was in her 20s/30s. Her type of performance is quite energetic, so at some point, it's okay for some decline as she gets older. One thing is for sure, she will always entertain.
