Especially when it comes to Beychella. Theres not a single soul whod look at Beychella and start thinking less of Bey because of it. Beychella is the epitome of what a performer could potentially be and deliver on stage

Kendrick will definitely do huge numbers, but I just wish Beyoncé would give us a date to look forward to. Maybe not a lead single, but at least something to build up hype.

But she’s not smart…so B7 is coming 4+ years later than it should’ve, possibly 5+…

She got unexpectedly pregnant and was probably creatively drained after Lemonade and the tour.  Recording an album and planning Beychella with two infants and a five year old was virtually impossible.

 

In a perfect world, though, B7 would've dropped the day before Coachella. She probably would've even beat Kacey Musgraves for AOTY

Then this norwegian Multimedia seller had a product listing for an untitled CD & vinyl album for December 21. Then this HDD rumour of her releasing in the next "90 days" started and some people assumed it would be January, another report said she's gonna release by the end of Sony Music's fiscal year (which ended on March 31st) and then people believed she's gonna release on April 4th.....????????? now its uncertain again

I forgot to mention those Vinyl design and packaging rumours....

She's not releasing close to Kendrick either. We'll have to wait at least until June.

Hm, to me it sounds like she isn't releasing close to some of her peers out of respect? Because if she did, everyone would only be talking about her and her new album.

I mean, she respects Kendrick which is a whole different thing. They are easily the most impactful black artists currently and she would never release on the same week. 

 

Now, I would be scared of Harry if I was her because we don't really know how her music is gonna perform with streaming audiences, and assuming the #1 is a given is a mistake she already made in the past.  And yes, for anyone saying "charts don't matter!!", she wants that #1 for her studio album.

To be honest, how do we even know she's releasing at all this year. She said she was working on new music and that was a long time ago : considering how much she tweaks stuff in the studio and how much she changes her mind, we might be in for an even longer wait.

It is just so sad that her best decade (her 30's) just flew out of the window like that. 

But maybe 40 is really the new 30.

I wouldn't say her 30s flew out of the window...at all...

 

I mean in her 30s she:

• released 3 solo albums, 2 of which are in the category of most acclaimed pop albums of all time
• headlined the Super Bowl and then performed at it again 3 years later giving an instantly iconic performance
• released perhaps the most notable (and acclaimed) live album of the millennium
• became a legend

in addition to giving us:

• a fun collaborative album
• a concept soundtrack album
• a stunning visual album (Black is King)
• one of her best tours (FWT)
• countless impeccable TV performances including two highly impressive VMAs medleys of her entire album

all while having 3 kids

 

She always said she'd retire by her 30s, she didn't. I can't even say "we should be grateful for what we have" because that implies the above is anything but amazing and awe-inspiring.
