Do you guys see the Netflix financial loss situation affecting the B7 release down the line? I skimmed an article and in preparation for more users jumping ship, some upcoming Netflix content is being axed or halted in production to cut expenses.
 

I know Parkwood is going to produce and Netflix will license but it made me wonder how it could change the rollout. 
 

This is assuming B7 is part of her Netflix deal though.

Assuming the deal was real, it would be in violation of contract if they backed out. I don't think Netflix would cut a Beyonce project - they probably desperately want to keep it assuming Homecoming did well

 

Although Parkwood and Bey can't be happy this is all going on. It's really bad for Netflix and its about to get worse when they roll out their password sharing crackdown. Their content just isn't good enough for people to stay.

If anything, Netflix will use this deal they have with her to sell the sh*t out of their service. It’ll be a “WE HAVE BEYONCÉ” campaign which could be good for her in the long run, promotionally speaking. 
 

If she owes netflix 3 films, she either has to deliver them (and maybe we’ll get FWT and OTR specials to fulfill the deal) or has to agree to a lesser deal (the 3-project deal is worth $60 million).

He basically demolished all the pop girls, won the Pop Grammys, outdid everyone with his tour, streaking monster… all while looking like a gremlin and playing a guitar. Catchy tunes though, infectious tunes.

He releases generic music 

He wears Walmart clothes on stage

Bey and Ed being friends is so weird to me but then again she’s like everyone’s god mother in the music industry I’m sure there’s even more weird friendships we don’t know about the fact that she’s besties with Gwenyth Paltrow is the biggest “wtf moment” for me

I always love hearing people talk about Bey and how pleasantly surprised they are to see that shes always respectful, professional, kind and approachable. It goes against anything the haters want us to believe and it speaks volumes about who she is.

Also the fact shes able to absolutely kill any first rehearsals sounds amazing to me haha

Idk if this has been said, but on Pusha T’s new album, he uses Bey’s 1+1 and samples it somewhat. More so the vocals.

this is why when people say she's "so arrogant" now it makes no sense. I know not everyone is going to be paying attention to interviews that mention Beyoncé as a person, but it says a lot about you if you see Beyoncé and automatically believe her fierce, queen-like stage persona is who she is off-stage, especially after spelling it out in 2008 that there is a difference.

I've kinda learned to trust her at this point, but I do agree. I really thought she would capitalize on the Oscars since she wasn't going to win.

Well, I remember I subscribed Netflix just to watch Homecoming 

I'm certain she is not releasing because of covid cases still being high everywhere right now. I'm sure she wants to tour with the album right away or at least plan the tour around it. It is simply NOT safe to tour right now. It's risking to expose an entire crew to covid when they work closely for weeks to set up the show and herself getting it. I could see why she's been patient and still waiting for things to be more stable. When that time comes, i'm sure she will have the highest grossing tour ever. You can feel that people have missed seeing her live and are waiting for her.  Business wise i totally understand why she is still waiting and hiding her cards music wise. Once things get better and she releases that feel good, energetic album, she will totally win the game.

Risky. COVID isn’t ever going away which we all know but it’s gonna rise and fall until 2024. Two more years could be career relevancy suicide. 

 

She will always be Beyoncé but I don’t think anyone can wait that long in this climate at her age 

I’m cool with a tour coming later I just want the music.
