Different strokes for different folks. When Beyoncé was Taylor’s age, she was married and a mother. Bey still cares about her career but she doesn’t put it first like Taylor does. She puts her family first, which is the right thing really.

This is true and I think we all know it. But she has a career where she only needs to make a splash every 2/3 years and  disappear. So when it’s time for the music, it’s frustrating that she isn’t performing or promoting. It’s not hard to juggle and it’s always temporary. I know this sounds selfish and entitled, but that’s how fans feel. She’s not the only artist with kids.

I wonder if had the visuals been released, would it have elevated the MC score... To think she has a 90+ score without the visuals and I don't think she gave the critics early access (?) And it was a new sound for her as well, people in here expected Renaissance to be in the low 80's.

Kind of confirms what I've always believed about her and how she feels about Beyoncé. Not hate, but definitely some kind of way.

 

For starters, Beyoncé's ride to solo superstardom coincided with Janet's fall from grace (the SB incident happened during the DIL era and Beyoncé actually opened the game with the Star Spangled Banner that year).

 

She was also dating Jermaine Dupri who came for Beyoncé at the time, essentially saying she'll be here today and gone tomorrow. Jermaine is messy and we all know this (see Kandi and Xscape).

 

She's given her props before though, so I guess that counts for something.

I don’t buy that she’s still working on the act i visuals. I think they were finalised months ago. She’s either working on act ii music or act ii visuals.

I can't listen to any new music these days without cleansing my palate with Renaissance afterwards  everything else seems so dull.

Same. After finishing that Taylor album I just had to rush to listen to COZY for some music with actual flavour.

If the following acts are actually new albums I really hope a horse remains in the centerpiece for both the album covers.

Why is she so bitter idgi. Beyoncé had shown number of times that she loves her including paying homage to her during halloween. Thankfully Beyoncé had received love from Mariah, Madonna, Barbra, Michael, Prince, Luther, Celine, Stevie, Bono among others. That's all that matters.

The SB's was Justin's or her own fault for trying so hard to create a drama though. B has always been about her vocals and performance and she always being classy and always be careful not too show too much skin.

There’s probably nothing to it. Janet is so cut off from the rest of the world (more than most other celebrities) that she probably isn’t even aware that Bey shouted her out in the BMS remix. And as for the Halloween costumes, that was years ago when Janet wasn’t even active on social media. If she had been I’m sure she would have shown appreciation, but she probably did privately anyway.

Coldplay is broadcasting their concert live in theaters across the world on Friday. She needs to do something like that.

I think after this latest silence, the visuals are the next thing she will release. The Tiffany thing is done and there wont be another Ivy Park so soon so this time we can be hopeful the visuals are coming for real. 

 

Cuff it with visuals will probably push the song for the holidays when people get together, party, drink so it's a no brainer. I suspect other songs that people are sleeping on will become hits too with the visuals. Beyoncé has a way with her visuals, that's why i think she is confident holding them right now, it will probably really gives this album new life and could probably survive the holiday drought. I'm kinda excited again tbh.

 

I hope we get Act II at the beginning of 2023.
