For an album to succeed with this type of hands off approach in 2022 is literally unheard of. This was cute for the first month not anymore, and now the conversation is mostly about the visuals she teased not the music

Yes it’s a mess. But at least the album is good and not MID. 
 

 

CIL is about to jump back into her top 5 on her Spotify page. 

The good thing about the ACT 1 visuals dropping right before tour in summer is that Renaissance will have it’s own moment for a while (even if uneventful) and I do find that a relief cause the tour setlist would likely include way more rennie tracks than if ACT 2/3 were released before tour. We need to hear as many of these songs live as possible!

I'm at peace because I'm no longer waiting on anything. I'm also not listening to the album anymore because I burned out of it.
Whenever the tour dates get announce, I'll be first in the queue. When those visuals are properly announced, I'll be shaking I'm sure. In the meantime ready to indulge in some other music/era's including Taylor/Kelela/Rihanna. Not a massive Taylor fan but she's always had a few songs that I've loved (The 1/Cardigan/Tolerate It- in terms of the last 2 albums), so I'm hoping Midnights converts me fully
