More than likely she's gonna do something different every night with it and that's the part that has me super excited. She has a way of making things that I think are perfect even better live.

Yeah, as much as I like her performances in the last years, the medleys have to be significantly reduced. Worst part about hers is that songs are cut really short. Songs deserve to performed entirely. That's the only part about Homecoming that is unbecoming. Some sections feel like collection of 30 seconds tracks being abruptly cut. 

I hope on tour, we have like 10 Rennie's songs and a few old classics/songs.

Yikes at the Bey v Rih thing. 

 

The emotional users are again doing THEE most ("Bey's OVAH"..."she has a GOD complex"..."Rihanna is now her equal")

 

The visuals and tour dates will drop and the hysteria will be ten fold and the certainty in your sourness will evaporate. It happens EVERY time. 

 

It is totally ok to tug at Bey for different things, but the actual dramatics and end-conclusions being reached makes the Base borderline unreadable these days. 

 

I'd actually "get" it if she dropped the visuals and they were wack and not worth the wait. But some of y'all are going crazy (literally it seems) without source material. I get the drags for the waiting, but some of y'all are really bold with the end-of-reign declarations. It's not THAT deep. 

 

We're all clearly emotionally invested to a degree, but there's an emotional immaturity IMO emanating from some of these posts. Respectfully. 

Yeah, Ronaldo - in particular - is a huge Bey's fan, he got his wife and sons in it as well. It's cute. Self-discipline and hard work recognizes self-discipline. 

He's mostly an IASF's stan though but hey, no one's perfect.

The songs were always cut short at the Formation tour and she always mixed it with some random rap songs, the set list was just way too long.  That OBH who said it was a huge megamix made some points..

I heard POTS in Macy's yesterday and it fit the environment well. I liked the song already but it hit on a different level now.

These are fair points. At the time people were kind of over Gaga and Joanne wasn’t anticipated. JT’s super bowl was mostly panned and he wasn’t anticipate in the same way as Rih is and MDMA is a legacy act. The fervor for Rihanna has boiled for 6 years, plus she is a major hit maker. The streams and sales will slay. 

I also hope we don't get Resentment, the song is not all that, it's not 1+1 or Listen and just clog the setlist. Cute vocals, beautiful vocals though but it's a dust. 

 

Let's bring Irreplaceable too. 

 

I would say Renaissance songs plus no other songs that those she just can't omit :

-CIL

-Irr

-SL and Halo

-DrIL 

-Hold Up... Hmm I mean Formation.

There’s a reason why Beyoncé gets to be the face of Tiffany and that’s because she doesn’t cheapen her image doing silly TikToks. Neither thing serves me any purpose as a fan, but being the image of a brand certainly gives her more money.

Do you think Taylor couldn’t be the face of a major expensive brand if she wanted? Her main focus has always been music anyways. 
 

Also, the problem is that you guys take every example literally. I’m just pointing out that it isn’t hard to be accessible while not having to do much out of your own home as a major superstar. She doesn’t have to leave her kids. There’s many avenues for her with social media. 

When we compare Beyoncé’s eras with other popstars’ and complain what are we looking for exactly? We got videos and performances for every single song with Lemonade. Like… who is actually doing that? Yeah, Lizzo, Olivia, Dua have a ton of performances but they need it because they’re not really established. Adele does too but her performances lack the production value of Bey’s. Taylor, Ariana, Rihanna or Gaga don’t come close to amount of performances nor videos (and that’s not even talking about the quality of them). What do we as fans get from instagram posts or tik toks? Relatability points? 

I do agree on the engagement could be a tad bit better. But from a GP view the album is doing well and no one cares.

Yeah Resentment was cool in 2014 but its purpose has been long served she can disappear from the setlist forever. If she want to revive an old song it should be Dangerously In Love. Its her "Superstar", a song that was never a single but everyone knows and love it.

Anyway a mash-up like Diva should happen 2 times in a show but not over 5/6 times. Still mash-ups and medleys are different, Beyoncé blends both, it's a mash-up but both songs are performed and both are cut very short.

There’s no reason why she can’t dedicate an hour of her next tour to performing Renaissance songs in full, and then still have an hour left for past hits and fan favorites. 
 

I’d much prefer that to only doing like 9/16 REN songs and then stuffing another 30 old songs that she only performs the same 90 seconds of each (first verse + chorus of Naughty Girl, first verse + chorus of Baby Boy, first verse + chorus of RTA, etc.)

I love the medleys and transitions. But I like to see a mix of both this time around.
