Getting this much Gains with only 40k tik tok videos is kinda wild. AS is my girl but it wasn’t benefitting this much from tik tok virality. :jonny5:

It definitely was though.  It was top 10 on apple music for ages, top 2 even, and was by far the highest streamed track on Spotify WW outside of BMS.  Even with it simmering WAY down, it's still out streaming Cuff It WW.

Cuff It is 10 million streams behind Alien Superstar on Spotify, and still hasn't surpassed it's daily streams.

On YouTube Alien has 7.6 million streams, whereas Cuff It has 3.7 million.

Don't forget, Cuff It had more early radio play, and way more playlisting.

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Cuff It is WAY promising as a second single, moreso than Alien now, as Alien has missed it's opportunity, but to deny that Alien was by far the leading choice for the second single is crazy.  All of it's success was purely organic, and it was definitely the favorite on release by the general public.

She isn’t going to release it. She is a clown. She should have someone on her team monitoring this kinda thing. She needs to hire a few fans tbh lol

AS and Cuff It would easily be hits for her.

I mean she doesn't even have to do anything outside of sending to radio like she did with BMS, and throw out a couple of dumb teasers lol

Cuff and Alien could’ve been a double single. Alien does great in streaming and Cuff does great on radio.

Honestly it’s probably best to not worry about her wasted single/album potential anymore. She’s going to stunt her commercial success until her last dying breath.

Try your best to just enjoy the music moving forward for these next three acts, because who knows what the future holds after Act III is released.

!

I guess I could see both sides.

It’s been a month since the teaser…

she’s a psycho

It's around the corner....

The Tiffany ad that is...

so disappointed in this era. i've been holding on for a while thinking she can't be that stupid to let so much time pass without any videos but here we are!:skull: we've gone on without nothing. Ive been keeping busy w/ life but damn NOW IM BORED it's been over a month and need something from my fave artist who released an amazing album..

Announce the mother.******* tour I'm ******* tired @Beyonce

I legit have no excitement about the other acts if she's just gonna abandon the era.

Why is this every straight black mans favorite Beyoncé song? :skull:

This doesn't even feel like an era in the first place.

It's more like another side project at this point :rip:

Yes the whole team is back in LA now

Kinda wild to be a month post the "teaser" (which I never considered a trailer tbh). Wild.

I'm ever the optimist, but sis is really TG/BIK'ing this right before our eyes. There is a very specific window around when videos can help the songs and it's fast running away from us. Push it past a certain point and that window vanishes. Meaning an October drop in theory would be no different to releasing in March next year. We/socials will gag, but its effectiveness becomes capped. IMO, this has to (has to) come out before the end of this month. Has to.

That said, I really think it will. Sis will want to secure her umpteenth nomination for the Grammy for Visual Media. Submissions end September 30th, so it figures it'll drop around or before then.

Yes! Or: "CAUSE THEM KARENS JUST TURNED INTO TERRORISTS"

My complaints aside, I still don't think they are sitting idle. I think it'll be more a case of us possibly disagreeing with their strategy of "silence" when we eventually find out what was going on BTS.

IMO (though admittedly conjecture), I feel she is aggressively sticking to a schedule (both personally and professionally) while navigating definite unforeseen issues.

Very little can convince me that they didn't miss the visuals deadline for the album and regrouped accordingly.

Assuming videos were meant to be out already (and issues arose), it's giving "I'm still going to Croatia with my family for two weeks. It'll be dealt with by the people I pay to deal with it and more hands on by me when I'm back".

Similarly, if the tour was always meant to be announced in September/October, she's not waiving on that just because the visuals aren't here yet. Be it to our detriment or not, they are sticking to a plan.

I suspect the visuals, tour, and vinyl drop will be lined up close together to give a second wind feel and maximize hype across the board.

She's unquestionably doing less (promo-wise) than the Bey we grew up with, but I think the name of her game is being strategic with the little she is doing to give it maximum traction. Had she been giving us the crumbs we want, it'll only make us want / need more. That "more" is clearly unavailable (given where she is in life, family etc), so I really really think they are actively trying to avoid that...while ironically creating frustration amongst fans anyway.

Last thing lol.

As much as I really do believe there IS strategy and a plan being deployed (whether we embrace it or not), it does leave lingering questions about the coming acts.

If she's doing a visual album per act, I don't think any of us have the time nor patience to wait like this should she repeat this "music first...visuals later" approach with acts 2 and 3.

At the same time, should she drop it all at once for the coming acts (as we've become accustomed to), it kind of invalidates the defence of separating music + visuals for Ren.

There's the possibility of some kind of all-encompassing visual (for all the acts), but even that won't justify withholding the videos for act 1 only to drop them simultaneously with the following acts.

I just hope whatever is coming is so left-field, envelope-pushing and unexpected that we all go "ooooooo, now it makes sense" rather than "is that...it?"

They probably won't know it tbh. She's a legacy act at this point. People are there for the overall experience, to see her perform her old hits and BMS, AS and Cuff It.

She really got me wondering why did God give her that talent. I guarantee you if her husband had this reach and popularity musically, he would take full advantage of the hype and opportunity.
