Ariana's never really released a bad album so I really don't think quality will be an issue. I do think she should release one more album before taking a hiatus for two reasons:

 

1) Positions lowkey had a lukewarm reception which means people will have moved on after 5+ years

2) Going on hiatus with a better received AG7 ensures more hype for AG8, basically guaranteeing its success 

 

She'll be over 30 after Wicked which is when a lot of popgirls start flopping. Doing #2 will help to avoid that

Tbh I don't think age will be an issue, most of the world thinks she's in her early/mid 20s. I think she has so much potential and I hope she doesn't waste it.

Strongly agreee. I feel like she has fooled the world into she thinking she's 25-27 forever.

 

Really the only thing that she should focus on is the quality. I don't think she has any bad album per se but the next record needs to be a magnum opus. Expectations are gonna be really high.

 

Her image since 2020 has been really great and she's managed to ditch the girly/teenager looks and started serving mature sexy lady. As long as she doesn't get herself into some career ending backlash/controversy she's gonna be more than fine.

Exactly, she really needs to step up her game though because her fans are gonna be over it if she doesn't feed the fanbase. And as I said in the past I'm not talking about constant musical releases, fans need content in every field, otherwise they get bored. If she handled REM beauty differently things could be much better for us right now, but she just doesn't want to do anything it seems, and Wicked is still too far to be an "excuse" for her absence, it's not coming anytime soon so..

True. I wish she was doing photoshoots, YT tutorials, TikToks, IG stories, Q&As, etc constantly instead of once in a lifetime. That would have kept fans entertained even if its not music.

Exactly, just look at how Rihanna and Selena handle their beauty brands and then her.. she's doing absolutely nothing.

I was just listening to this a few days ago.
Really, the only dud here is Better Left Unsaid but it's still a bop. She should've made it a ballad instead of going for that chorus.

I'm officially tired of her discography  wishing for a droplet out of pity for us

I think I read somewhere she wouldn't tour stadiums because it's harder to enforce safety compared to arenas and that's the priority

Same, I reached a point where her discography is just tiring to listen to (well, after overplaying it daily for a decade it was bound to happen sooner or later). 

 

Bey came at the right time with Renaissance, she keeps me fed for now.
