One has massive payola and the othes has almost 0 promo... I think the male Taylor will win :clap3:

Ariana already got two #1 debuts this year. Would be iconic if she has a third one

im putting my money on Forever After All

because it came out of nowhere which is a GP smash.

ari’s numbers will keep getting lower thru the week

and luke’s numbers will keep getting higher.

the way he did 2.3M without TTH on Spotify is just mindblowing.

+ He is leading on iTunes with %52 lead and #1 on AM and Amazon.

He will stay stable all week and get that #1 on Hot100.

People really believe FAA just came out of nowhere? :rip:

It'd been hyped on tiktok for a while before it got released and now has tons of viral videos there. Tiktok has produced many number 1s in the US as a matter of fact. :rip:

how... relevant is itunes anymore? genuinely curious

like how much does it usually affect total points

In reality, iTunes is the least relevant of all music consumption platforms at the moment simply because its day-to-day; week-to-week Digital sales have decreased so much.

As of late, the vast majority of the biggest Digital sales week have only come along through fans mass-purchasing their faves. singles ala. BTS.

Every so often, however, there is a song that will sell organically and prove to be a genuine sales hit and it does help with Hot 100 points in totality.

Would like to see Ariana get another #1 debut but I think Luke.

His numbers will probably increase throughout the week while Ariana’s decline.

Songs that went #1 this year thanks to digital sales (ITunes + website sales)

The Scotts

Trollz

Dynamite

Rain On Me

Watermelon Sugar

Cardigan

Say So

SWU

Franchise

Savage Love

Scooter paid for her radio with Taylor's money. This fight is already over. Congrats to Ariana for her another #1 debut!

Ariana's song is gonna have 5 days of radio airplay + the music video's streams on youtube to its advantage... the #1 debut is secured in my opinion

lies. Rain on Me only had 10k website sales.

Without them rain on me would still debut at #1

and that is confirmed multiple times already.

Most of rain on me points came from streams.

so please delete rain on me from that list.

One has the promo advantage and the other is literally a deluxe album track. The fact that we're having this conversation in the first place :rip:

when you put it like that :deadbanana2:

I can't believe this is happening. :deadbanana4: Truly nobody is safe in 2020.

Of course Ari will be no. 1. Imagine the lashing when she debut at no. 2. But Scooter wont let that happen :giraffe:

Scooter could stop Yummy from debuting at #2 so Intentions might not be a sure thing yet :giraffe:

It’s kinda disgusting how Ariana will be #1 because of radio (which has recently proved to be fraudulent), while Luke is #1 on all but one platform. :rip:

Not a dig at Ariana, but Billboard’s tragic formula.

This :rip:The gigantic radio deal push will probably put her at #1 but Billboard allows blatant chart gaming so it’s all par for the course.

But Forever After All being an album track and even competing with Ariana’s lead single says enough. It’ll go #1 in our hearts
