The songs that serve the "best" longevity there did have (lots of) radio support, such as that #1 no one heard, Delicate (did not even hit the top 10 regardless, LOL), LWYMMD (massive radio deal), Opalite, etc

Edit: and of course that Toy Story song which is probably the fakest "hit" since Candle in the Wind

Of course the single following up 1989 would have a massive radio debut, it had a matching gigantic streaming and sales response too. Then the metric it did worse after a few weeks was… radio. Delicate's chart performance is perfectly fine and so was it's year end position.

I don't get how can anyone drag her commercial performance. She is literally the biggest artist of 21st century by a big margin.

They are songs by other niche artists like The National or Sugarland that Taylor has a small feature on.

OT: Taylor is the biggest h100 artist of the century and has more weeks on the h100 than any other woman in history so no she doesn't have a problem getting hits.
