Waking up is literally the most miserable part of my day, no matter how much sleep I get. Especially when you wake up and have to go to work.

I love my bed. I love sleeping. I love lying down and bed rotting. I hate the wake of consciousness. I hate not being able to sleep more. I hate having to leave my bed. I hate it I hate it I hate it.

Has anyone ever trained themselves to be a morning bird and wake up like a Disney princess?

It depends. Less than 6 hours of sleep, and yes I wake up wanting everyone to die.

Yes that's why I wake up an hour before to just decompress

But that's one less hour of sleep chick3

Never, I've never really had any issues to wake up and I always am in a good mood

Yes I have insomnia too so sleeping for like 2-4 hours and forced to wake up feels like death

not really just a disaster if i stay up late and feel tired in the morning. get into an early bed routine will change your life for the better and im not kidding

I wouldn't say I'm "miserable" in general, except for those typical "getting up on the wrong foot" type of days... I, however, don't enjoy waking up for work. I wake up "neutral" on 90% of days I'd say lmao

I'm on vacation with my fiancé in the south of France right now and of course here waking up is so amazing heart

I always think of the prophetic words of the Icelandic Björk:

If you wake up / And the day feels a-broken / Just lean into the crack

And it will tremble / Ever so nicely / Notice / How it sparkles

I don't feel miserable but I do love to sleep (I'm old) so the initial getting out of bed can sometimes be a mental battle. After like 5 minutes I'm fine though.

I love waking up, for some time now I've even been setting my alarm for 6:30 or 7 AM to have a longer day

No bird

I like to start a slow morning, so it helps me to be in a good mood throughout the day.
