Once someone reaches a certain level of fame and success, no matter how hard this artist flops later, it doesn't make that person leave that « A-list » status he's reached, which has nothing to do with the current commercial performance of the projects.

She is in the Megan's Law list for sure.

you can be a flop and still A list. she's had consecutive huge media moments for the past several years. she was a notable figure at the Met, she's still A list.

but there was a juicy bit of info about the Met Gala that was revealed this year. the true big names come later in the evening, like Beyonce and Rihanna. Katy was basically first on the carpet, she was there an hour or more earlier than the others. so she's definitely below them but still A list. and it makes sense, she's not a big draw. nobody cares about what she's going to wear or even who she dates, but she can still make the headlines and go viral.
