Co-worker pop is the kind of music Pam from HR would play at company events because it's safe, bland, and uneventful. Sometimes these songs become huge hits, but it's some artist with no name or personality who comes and goes or is featured in a random dance tune.

These songs are usually not from artists Atrl even listens to (however P!nk as of her past few albums have become a co-worker pop artist.

I don't prefer it but I'm not above it. Lord knows I've gotten down to a Bebe Rexha song at Ross.

It's one thing when they play tired top 40 hits. It's another when they play songs in the same vein that probably don't even have a wikipedia page…

Especially when it's some random singing in cursive. Like they all begin to sound the exact same.

i remember Having a co worker who was obsessed with abcdefu by Gayle … that was a hard time in life

I hate corny supposedly moving tunes like Brave, Fight Song, Roar, 7 Years, Dance Monkey etc.

my coworkers always ask this one guy to put on a spotify playlist and it's usually either 80s hits or recent hits but it's always the exact same songs, made me realise i can't stand a lot of these gp classics

Absolutely despise bland, flavorless music that feels like an empty carcass that would play in an elevator perpetually stuck in hell.

I feel like the worst ones are Harry Styles, Lorde & Ed Sheeran. The musical equivalent to eating uncooked, unseasoned, cold chicken.

there was this hot server who used to work at my job and I had a crush on. one day in the locker room he was in there with me getting his life to Dance Monkey (like full blast on a speaker) and I could never look at him the same.

I've worked at a grocery store for almost the last five years. I've come to pretty much despise anything by Colbie Caillat or OneRepublic for example. SO many bland pop tracks from them get played and I sometimes hear them up to three times a day, where as I'm lucky if I get to hear Avril Lavigne or Ariana Grande even ONCE a day.

I call it Capital FM music

So many hits today has no nutrition or flavor so hard to single tracks out. A lot of it sounds like iPhone or vitamin supplement ad music
