It flows well, is both honest and self deprecating yet powerful. It's a timely concept in these modern times and one that's universally understood. She's smart to tap into that ethos without trying too hard or making a depressing anecdote.

Versailles as the MV backdrop is also genius. Olivia wearing retro wired headphones and country/cottage-core nightgowns is yet another clever nod to the dichotomy of tech vs human emotion and vulnerability. The grainy camcorder-like cinematography drives that home even more. There's just enough sex appeal (pop star after all) but it's softened by her free spirited innocence, dancing around playfully. This is what a modern pop star is

I'm not sure why this song is not FULLY clicking with me, the melody is really hooky like it sticks to you immediately, and the lyrics flows so well. The final chorus sounds really great with the note changes she made. However, the overall vibe just doesn't sit right with me.

Maybe I'm just getting old and my taste changed bc I was really obsessed with SOUR and GUTS back then.

I'm still excited for the album nonetheless and I hope the other tracks have a different vibe. This Lorde-ish synthpop is not my cup of tea.

I hope she releases a rockier version of this song, though. I feel like more drums and electric guitar will elevate this song, especially on the first beat drop after the first chorus. That's gonna be more fire.

I'm sure why this song is FULLY clicking with me, the melody is really hooky like it sticks to you immediately, and the lyrics flows so well. The final chorus sounds really great with the note changes she made. Obviously, the overall vibe just sits right with me.

Soo the video will probably do arround 6 million during the 1st 24 hours, thats fine since she has never been huge at YT & Overall each year YouTube views are lower..... so I think she is able to do arround 8-9 million at Spotify, that's my prediction. I hope she could snatch #1 Global Spotify

Olivia Roan's new song "drop dead" is fine.

The music video is terrible, though. She's lucky she can get away with boring, cheap-looking music videos for now, since she's young. Try those uninspired videos in your thirties and no one will tune in to watch that—ask Lana Del Rey. I don't really hear Boring Barbie, but I do hear Chappell in the production and Kesha during her sing-rap verse, which is fine.
