Two of Gaga's most defining classics with the GP post-ARTPOP

The fact that DWAS is already Bruno and Gaga's most streamed song on Spotify says a lot. Undeniably one of the biggest smashes of all time.

Shallow is iconic of as well of course.

The fact most pop girls could never score a mega smash like Shallow in streaming era, yet she got it again with Die With a Smile, an even bigger hit.

Die with a Smile for both when it comes to power ballads, I just really prefer the more traditional song structure: great verses, explosive chorus, explosive bridge. Shallow is good but the chorus only happening twice makes it less impactful. the chorus also isn't as perfect on Shallow as it is on Die with a Smile

DWAS is obviously a bigger hit but Shallow felt like a way bigger moment.

Shallow gobbles Chudai, but Chudai is clearly the bigger hit (even though Shallah is already a huge smash).

Shallow is better.

ARUTW clears both. I prefer shallow between the two though, could never get myself to like Die with a smile, it's so cheesy

Shallow was an organic solo gaga smash(bradley part is irrelevant and he isn't a singer and has no other smash song and I have never heard or read someone saying they like or stream the song because of him except trolls on this site)

shallow is a bit idiosyncratic for a love ballad and very gaga'd. die with a smile is just unmemorable pastiche.

i've overstreamed Shallow at this point. Die is more enjoyable for me now but I do think Shallow is bigger / more iconic to the GP? it's attached to a huge movie and i remember a time when everyone was talking about the film and the song and Gaga around that time when music or pop culture discussions were happening. I think Shallow is more "iconic" overall but Die is more enjoyable to me personally

Shallow is definitely better. But DWAS was absolutely massive

Die without Bruno is much better, mainly because Gaga doesn't show up until 2 minutes in and everyone has clicked skip before then.

Shallow is one of the most annoying songs ever, sha la la la la la la indeed.

I much prefer Die. I think it's a cute song, I like it. Though Shallow feels much much bigger to me, I've heard DWAS like twice irl while Shallow was everywhere

Die With A Smile is bigger and much better. Shallow had alot more promo. it was in a popular movie and it was performed everywhere .we so far never got a TV performance of Die With A Smile.
