If Gaga did not win this year despite almost no competition, I can't imagine her winning in the future and I don't mean it as a shade. Her music is very particular and it's not with albums like Artpop, Joanne or Chromatica that she can achieve this ^^

She needs a stronger narrative to win Album of the Year. One huge hit alone is not enough. Multiple big singles would make a real difference. Mayhem was the right direction, and now she needs to take bigger risks and do something truly new.

no, her best chance was 15+ years ago and that didn't happen so...

She could, but it depends on many things. She didn't have big chances with Mayhem against Bad Bunny and Kendrick cause she and Sabrina would always split the votes. If she were to win, it would be in a year in which there's no pop and rock albums nominated. She would get their support and win

DWAS also had no chance in the GF cause it split votes with BOAF, but it is a song that could easily win in the right year
