Honestly this song took years to grow on me. Initially I wrote it off but my friend mentioned liking it recently and I relistened and it finally clicked. Not for everyone but not as bad as everyone made it out to be!

Because it's one of the worst songs ever made

This just isn't true. Christina Aguilera was never left behind. She is one of the biggest and most recognized artists of the millenium. She has 32.8 monthly listeners on Spotify which is insane for an artist that debuted in the 90s.

But a bad song is a bad song, so rightfully so when she releases bad music people will keep streaming the classics they know and love.

I thought it was no sh*t very progressive for a mainstream pop song at the time lol

I remember commenting on the Genius lyric page that I liked it but it was a bit confusing sounding at first listen at the same time and several fighter users downvoted me perhaps it's a bit too much to ask to expect other internet users to comprehend nuance but damn it it shouldn't be! regardless, I wasn't ever saying that it was confusing in a bad way. things can be confusing and still bang hard, and that's how I felt about Accelerate at the toymm haven't listened to it in awhile though so I'll refresh myself tonight. LOVED Maria though and that should've been a single too
