Don't engage on any type of relationship with swifties.

one thing im learning as i grow older is nothing is ever 100% one or the other all of the time . you have to look at absolutely everything with nuance and in a LOT of situations it might seem like there are only two extreme options but with everything there's also always a nice little middle-ground you can take .

You can always just log off.

Live your life and don't worry about what other people think. No matter what people are going to judge you.

im tired of pretending my phone is broken , to justify it . it isnt . i do it deliberately because i think the punctuation should have space to breathe and be its own thing instead of always being attached to a word . thing

I'm not saying to lack empathy, but at the end of the day, most people really only think about themselves and their bottom line.

So with that being said, don't stress out about that weird thing you said at a party three weeks ago to whoever, don't feel super guilty about not returning a phone call or text, and don't feel badly for not going above and beyond bc at the end of the day, people aren't really thinking about you and what you do anyway.

if you're dating somebody and have something in your mind or you're feeling some type of way, TELL THEM what you're feeling instead of keeping it to yourself, we're not mind readers

Indeed, and every time I had a bad gut feeling about something, but went ahead an ignored that and thought "maybe it's just me", I've ALWAYS regretted it suburban

Never make someone a priority when you're only an option for them.

Embarrassment is not real. It is you who chose to be embarrassed and get miserable over it. Confidence is much more attractive than any muscle.

Buy your bread sliced and keep it in the freezer, it won't go moldy, and you can just toast each slice as you need it

Tell your closest friends you love them, and that you mean it. Sometimes you need to tell your loved ones how important they are in your life

tomorrow is never promised.

  • start an investment account if you haven't - the younger you are the more you benefit from the power of compounding.

  • ensure your 401k / pension plan, tax plans and insurance plans (health, car, house) are in place no matter how little or much you have.

  • Don't go back to school this day and age if you're gonna incur more debt it's just not worth it - at home certificates or building your own portfolio of skills will save time.

  • Don't be a lone wolf and feel sorry for yourself - maintain family, friendship and professional networks. Find true friends who are mechanics, lawyers, doctors, teachers, accountants - much of surviving life is who you know.

  • If you're not working out or moving around, not eating healthy, not sleeping enough, smoking, constantly doing heavy drugs etc. Your body needs constant maintenance to feel good every day or it will give in.

  • Limit device and SM usage, go outside, smile and talk to people. Keeps life interesting. Get some hobbies as calming as cooking, board games and book club, to rock climbing or building rockets or bee keeping.

Absolutely. I didn't start doing this until my late 20s.

"No" is a full sentence. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
