"No time for dancing"

Mayhem Requiem show performed acoustic on piano confirmed

honsoolboi-tokyo-toni.gif

She needs to do the whole album front to back like Harlequin live. No need for dancers. Just let Parris guide her movements around the stage and it will rock.

What is she up to hmm

Every time she's more silent than usual she's cooking sumn, so ready to receive greatness WAP

Something that's been on my mind recently: Part of me wishes Godga was still as socially active as she used to be, such as speaking against ICE like how she once defended immigrants in 2011. Granted, all the Millennial girlies have lagged behind the Gen Z girlies in speaking up for social issues tin recent years. To her credit, she's still had moments of activism here and there like how she stood up for trans rights at the Grammys just less than a year ago.

I guess she has so much public goodwill now that she could go the rest of her career without saying anything in regards to any social issue, but there is a part of me that misses the 2011Ga who was standing up against discrimination from Jakarta and Russia. Obviously she's less "wild" than she used to be and I'm confident her general sentiments about social issues haven't changed. It's just something strange to reckon with as a long-time stan.

I think she's just more selective now about how and when she attracts attention to herself - stemming from how ARTPOP's hugely visible hate train destroyed her mental health and forced her career into rehabilitation for almost good decade before it rebounded - and I suppose I just have to accept that as a stan.

What were those lyrics that were teased on the website during MAYHEM's launch but it was never on the album?

I very much agree with the bolded part. She has been/was dealing with fibromyalgia and depression for a long time. It's very understandable that she doesn't want to risk any unwanted attention triggering any physical and/or psychological issues. Also, we don't know what she is doing behind closed doors. A big portion of her activism for LGBTQ+ rights around 2011 was behind closed doors as we learned years later.

I think it was something along the lines of: Sexy, confident / So intelligent

I'm sure she's made donations and whatnot behind the scenes. Tweets from and pins for celebrities do nothing and come off as shallow.

Luckily, we don't stan a problematic girl and her stances are never in question. Not all can relate.

I feel like now she chooses times to speak about stuff rather than speaking about it all the time, like that abortion speech during chromatica ball

And thats fine

Idk should she post it tomorrow then

I thought it was rather obvious this was going to be a more acoustic show… especially based on the name Requiem and the teaser picture of the piano/stage. It probably won't be a full piano show, but more stripped down/orchestral versions of the songs for sure.
