I think so. With the Christmas plague ending this week, it should have no problem surviving between now and the Grammys, which should then keep it afloat to its 1st anniversary. Then it just has to chart for 2.5 months longer to surpass BTW.

It has a good shot. Gaga will definitely jump back in once the Christmas freeze ends and she should good a decent boost from the Grammy awards. I hope she performs and we get a big spectacle with her pop numbers instead of another ballad on piano.

I searched on ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and even did a cursory standard Google search. Neither one could come up with an example of a single artist winning Grammys for multiple distinct projects in one ceremony.

At the very least, we know Gaga would be the first among her peers. And even if it doesn't happen with Harlequin/Mayhem, she'll have other chances in the future since she wants to keep making jazz music.

Godga is also tied with Natalie Cole for woman with most Best Traditional Pop Album wins. She's becoming the #1 woman in the category at some point.

It's a great sign that various publications are including some deep cuts in their best songs as well because it shows the album has stuck with critics as a complete body of work.

Harlequin is not winning traditional pop album against Laufey imo. The best thing it will do is garner votes for Mayhem for AOTY from the jazz field.

The Traditional Pop category is stacked this year. Laufey's album was a lot more commercially successful than Harlequin and Laufey won this category last year, so voters are familiar with her

Elton John and Brandi's album was also more successful than Harlequin, but they have never won this category before so they are wild cards

I would love to see Gaga win here without Tony, but it's going to be an uphill battle. Even with the campaigning and industry support

Mayhem will still dominate
