Disease, Abracadabra, and RUNWAY all being fire music videos in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Add in the MAYHEM performances and tour — She really recaptured the magic of what made her a once-in-a-generation visual artist. It was always frustrating when things didn't come together, since we all knew she had it in her, so this is an incredibly satisfying 12-16 months with MAYHEM (and the other things tied to the era.)

Bruno's Record Store Day vinyl did not knock Mayhem off the Billboard 200 this week. Gaga's Billboard artist page shows Mayhem at 59 weeks (and The Fame at 465 weeks) meaning both albums charted this week (the chart will be updated in about 12ish hours or so).

If I'm going to critique I will say Parris isn't a great director (yet, she's good) and she should stick more to creative directing. The video itself is great but it's so similar to abracadabra (a couple sets + setpieces, similar camera movement). @Sheep pointed out that it's very similar to Kpop videos from 10+ years ago. A more experienced director could have done a bit more but that doesnt take away from Parris in her furthering her craft in directing.

You can't expose this take to the locals without prefacing that Parris was working with kpop stars before western ones and has several MV director credits there. I'm going to clowned by racists who think Gaga could NEVER lower herself to kpop.
