Yes! This is what I meant a while back when I said that we were not ready for a Beyoncé rock era yet... that the previous two acts were released into a culture that required them in some way, and that (without knowing what act iii is about conceptually, mind you) it didn't seem that May 2026 was really a moment that needed a Beyoncé rock album.

BUT as more artists start teasing it, putting out their own, and with Beyoncé's next album already expected to be rock, she can come in when there is that moment without looking like she's following trends.

Girls, Joaco is one of the most brilliant Beyoncé stans, for real. He knows everything related to technical stuff, performances, etc., hence I asked him that question.

Also why is she hiding the album on YouTube? Only the Maluma song is in my subscription feed. If you go to her channel none of the songs are there but I see all the songs in my recommended feed. It's weird. Normally artists will spam the entire album on your subscription feed.

and @QueenB pretty much confirmed those three tracks along with check on it were fake remastered, so

I have waterboarded myself to like the new Creole mix (the pitch down isn't AS bad) but Back Up she sounds like she has marbles in her mouth

Her voice is just deeper and richer now. That's all

There are other popstars that will struggle or pretty much die trying to sing lost you mind, Beyoncé isn't one of them

It's the pitch down effect to lost yo mind. So she did a mix of new vocals with old. The end where she is belting and several adlibs is all new (my fav part) but she lowered the key slightly to add those.

Oops I was listening to lost yo mind and typed it. I meant back up. That one is too pitched down for my liking

I don't get the backlash about the Bday merch and collectors items. Artist do stuff like this all the time. There are fans out there that find value in certain items - especially limited items - are willing to pay for it. If that was not true, it would not be for sell and they would not almost be sold out. Why would anybody get mad about this? lol. I see nothing wrong with Beyonce setting her price points where she chooses.

It's the pacing I think doesn't sound as effortless

ive been listening to both b'day versions back to back and I think green light, kitty kat, and suga mama benefitted the most from the remaster

ou this is what i was expecting from the vinyl deluxe booklet, if the standard vinyl has the same pictures i might just consider buy it (they do share some pictures tho)
