ii wish she rerecorded the album, her young voice can be grating when she goes high. Irrepalceable should have had that 'live' instrumental version from the video included already.

1. the album has been remastered. it was originally very LOUD and compressed. sounds a lot better now.

2. honestly it doesn't. but she also has a vault track from 2003 on here, so i guess she said f*ck it

3. yes. other than morning dew, there are new vocals on cuerpo, can i watch you, creole, back up, and lost yo mind. i believe can i watch you is fully a re-record while the other 3 are mostly pitched down and certain verses/adlibs/bgvox have been adjusted with new vocals. cuerpo (GMB remix) has new vocals throughout and a recent verse with a sirdavis mention.

Resentment (studio version) is finally listenable now. Sad that she made Back Up into a chop when it could have been a hit.

I'm on my way to London right now to see friends since I just got back to the UK after five years abroad. Lemme see if I bump into Bey on the Thameslink if I do I'll ask her to playlist Deja Vu, it's coming for #1 again

can I watch you doesn't stand out after first listen but it's enjoyable nonetheless. I get Black is King vibes from the opening vocals. I can't fully pinpoint it but I think it's the bit where they're levitating up through the tunnel.
