He produced all of the songs (with words) for the new version of the movie. They were covers of the ones from the original film but he arranged them with Hans Zimmer.

I personally would've chosen BIGGER to be the closing credits song.

Beyoncé's Can You Feel The Love Tonight is the only saving grace. But they left out Nala's solo song Shadowlands and of course didn't let her sing circle of life or the end credits song. Did her so dirty.

TS will once again show us what it means to like success and to like her music to be part of the zeitgeist. Good for Swifties, i envy them. It must be nice to feel that type of passion and drive for success coming from the person they stan. Takes me back to 2009.

If songs like Tyrant and Bodyguard had proper high effort banger music videos, they would've been Drunk in love sized hits

Bodyguard could've been a big global hit it handled well. There is no doubt about it.

Wow. Did not know Pharrell actually ended up on the project! Thank you for letting me know.

Assuming "Spirit" (with only 3 writers - the perfect Oscars Original Song number) was still placed in the movie, I choose "FYWB" over "BIGGER" to get that buoyant "All The Stars" moment at the end, but "BIGGER" is a beautiful song that would fit well too.

I wish Elton John was not involved in that iteration at all to see how the film soundtrack would have evolved (gone Blacker and with more respect to the African sounds it borrows from).

At this point, i would just like to have permanent content, yet we stan a hag who gets hard at the thought of taking away produced content so that we can relive the experiences "in our head".
