My mom passed away last week. I know I mentioned her wanting to hear a Beyonce rock album as she has anticipated it for years, and I'm so sad she didn't get to hear it before she passed (if that's wha

I really hope we get it soon. My mom loves Beyonce, and her favorite genre is rock, she is SO excited. She just got diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I really hope she gets to hear the album while

She loves breaking patterns when the Hive notices them, so I wouldn't put it past her to move the date just because. I guess it makes her feel more "in control."

And these slow npcs ( lorebreakers / tiktok detectives ) be like " SHE IS RELEASING ON THE 29th because...." not knowing B probably hates that lmaoo

Top 5 off COWBOY CARTER (also in no order):

  5. BODYGUARD

If y'all really think she's spitefully moving dates that take months, if not years of planning, with hundreds of moving parts and budgets...

She's a perfectionist, and she's infuriating, but she's not going to shoot herself in the foot. She doesn't care what anyone thinks or guesses. Least of all her fans.

I immediately thought of Bey's trilogy too.

The fact he probably recorded all three in the time between CC and now and will probably release them all before we even get to act iii rip

And he also knows that straights dont follow pop culture like that, so they dont care about a "Beyoncé", which gives him the upper hand when dropping things like these first.

The way Gaga served FULL ERA with everything and more and we have to settle for one performance per "era".

Its a joke tbh.

What upper hand?

You all need to relax. He dropped 3 trash albums that nothing to do with what bey is doing

Thankfully time and care went into Beyoncé's aside from CC's track transitions.

The Drake thing is interesting...jarring...and triggering all at once.

Granted, I trust Bey's process/quality control way more, I am still filing this one under the growing list of:

"Concepts Bey Started That Other Artists Are Perfecting / Getting The Clout For"

and

"Concepts Bey Would Devour, But We're Still In The Trenches"

Don't drag me, but didn't we have morsels of tea that *alleged* the trilogy was never supposed to be AS spread out as it was? Like, I vaguely remember a suggestion that it was all meant to drop over a much tighter window and have one all-encompassing, evolving tour (hence that huge gap between Rennie and the RWT). And that it was the surprise pop cultural success of Rennie (+ the evolving visual situation) that flipped everything on its head?

That said, I feel history will be kindest to Bey's slow-bake, grand-plan approach, but boy is it all so boring in the downtime compared to how other fandoms are being fed and blessed.

As a marketing buff who is Hive, it grates to see other acts nail the innovation game with comparably inferior output to Bey lol. So, it's the likes of Taylor acing that tour movie rollout (AMC, Disney+) to how she was about to flip the live market on its head with her whole LoverFest (East & West) festival setup (which only didn't happen because of Covid). Now, Drake with three albums at once. Adele's random purpose-built pop-up (stadium-esque) in Germany. Plus many other acts and moments in between.

Some of my offline Hive friends get annoyed when I say this, but all of this is the exact reason I want her to wrap up this trilogy asap. It's historic and I know our girl will finish strong with act iii and the epic visuals for everything. But, dramatic as it sounds, I just want her and us to be free from the shackles of whatever this "rollout" is.

Whether it's a grand plan or huge clean up behind the scenes, I think we can all agree that she's kinda "locked" into whatever is in (slow)motion atm. And while I'm bracing for longer and longer breaks between future projects, at the very least, I like that it will give her scope to be as, if not more, innovative than her peers. B10, for example, could drop one way, and she has full freedom to drop B11 completely differently whenever she feels, so on and so forth with B12, B13 etc.

The trilogy couldve been legendary, but her being so aloof and "mysterious" will ALWAYS dampen its potential.

She thinks shes doing sth (or maybe she knows shes not really doing anytjing but shes fine with it?), but her not doing ANYTHING with the albums post release will always result in it not reaching as many people as it could have. Both Rennie and CC are already doing 800k streams per day, which is just so little.

Its nonsensical clamining "legendary trilogy" with such pathetic streams, sorry to say. The trilogy will be iconic to a niche (us Hive members), but apart from that, it'll fail to reach the masses and thus fail to become legendary.

The trilogy is LEGENDARY.

It's the this type of nonsensical talk that makes hive insufferable.

Everyone even non-stans are very much aware of the trilogy she's doing. Like stop comparing her to everyone. Go stan those people

I legit think there is literal chaos behind the scenes. Maybe not now, but at points.

Her saving grace, ironically, has been her vagueness.

Keeping ish as vague as possible means she can never be one of those artists publicly plagued by the blowback of missed release dates and unkept promises. Even if lowkey that's what's happening BTS. To the GP, each act is simply arriving as "a new Beyonce album" and is greeted with the fresh slate of excitement and not the bah humbug we are currently in the midst of.

What's most jarring (but, I guess, amazing for her) is that she WILL finish strong as if "it was the plan all along" and receive all the praise and accolades.

The vague thing is annoying af, but honestly, it has been what's saving her behind atm.

Streams don't make albums legendary.

Never have and never will. The cultural zeitgeist of an album is what ultimately makes it retain a legendary status.

cowboy carter is and will be more legendary than hit me hard and soft even tho that album has 10b streams

Lastly ST** with the constant complaining and bit**ing.

But leave it to useless hive who want to dig up every thing (of there is anything negative to dig up) and put it out of front street because they wanna be gay Sherlock Holmes so bad…

They do. We don't need 10b or even 3b streams for the album to be legendary
