Throwback to Lemonade debuting on HBO with 700k viewers and labeled a flop but then smashed on the charts until Views came out a couple weeks later smh.

This was truly the last "Queen Bae" era where all the geepee either stanned her or at least pretended to. Despite the black panther controversy she still had the whole world eating out of the palm of her hand. The cherry on top was the pregnancy announcement breaking Instagram records (until Selena Gomez's ass had to get her kidney replaced ).

Then another smash came when Coachella happened and the whole world googled it making it the most searched performance of all time and broke the record most viewers for a live Coachella performance .

It all came toppling down when the collab album debuted top 2 at #2 against an independent Australian white boy band. Then the Gift… chile… and all the quick lil remixes that came and went and now getting out streamed by the original.

Imagine if Renaissance was her first record since Lemonade. BMS would debut #1, AS would go #1, then Cuff Hit would go top 5.

Re-listening to Lemonade, I'm reminded of how exciting it is to be in the Hive.

Sure, she does increasingly less and less, but her releases are always momentous occasions for the sheer artistry behind every word, harmony, beat drop, etc.

Which is why it's a roller coaster being a fan of hers.

She does the MOST questionable things, but we can never deny the greatness of her artistry.

There is NO artist with a run like ST > LEM > REN > CC
