She definitely doesn't have any rap hits that have outshined her pop hits.

Her biggest songs are either pop from a decade ago, or heavily SAMPLED from already iconic songs (Baby Got Back & Super Freak).

 

She can hardly make an original smash hit of her own, no shade.

 

 

 

The general public sees Nicki as a throwback pop star ala Katy Perry. She's not taken seriously as a rapper. There's a reason her fans cling on so hard to one feature verse from 15 years ago
