It baffles me that she was making songs like Mind Maze, Witness, Power, which all fit the introspective and serious concept she was pushing for the album -- but she instead chose to derail the campaign with non-stop slapstick for ~3 singles in a row.

This was the first song of hers that I didn't add to my library

I like this song. Whoops. Probably because I like Purity Ring.

I've said this countless times: Witness would have been a fantastic cohesive introspective concept album if it was a concise 10 tracks. She ruined the whole vibe with unnecessary songs she didn't really need on the tracklist.

I agree. The problem with Witness is the album tracks were so much better than the singles. BA (I like it in general) and SS shouldn't have been singles. CTTR is great but shouldn't have been the lead.
 

Roulette and Witness should've the first two singles. They are also the only songs on the album that sounded like #1 hits.

Oh GODMaze  Probably some of her best lyrics but people never focus on that. 

I'm a hater but this is one of her best songs. PR came through on the production.
