It's a pity the scene is so disturbing, I enjoy the actress. She had some fun skits on madtv (when they weren't that mean towards Britney).

Well, Gaga is one of the few singers who could break into acting successfully in entertainment history and it's even more impressive considering there almost isn't a pop girl who hasn't tried. So it did sting a lot that she got nominated for every award but ultimately snubbed at the Oscars. 

 

Taylor's role is a disaster. I think the funniest thing about her non-existent film career isn't that you guys don't care, it's that she has tried so many times to get an Oscar one way or another and failed each time. You don't care but she clearly does. Or at least did.

Can't deny her interest in Oscar glory given the ridiculous ATW campaign, but not one single film role she's ever booked ever had any possibility of an awards campaign. Most of them are extended cameos basically equivalent to Dua Lipa's involvement in Barbie.
