its good. it must sit well on the album, not single material. it may work as promo cause its different from the other songs

 

Meh. Very generic, bland ballad in my opinion.

This is at least better than that awful ballad she released last year (?) called me, myself and you or whatever 

 

This is still a little bland though. I don't feel like it goes anywhere and there's no real memorable hook, the whole thing just falls a bit flat for me. It starts off nicely when she's signing in her lower register and the production feels quite rich but it completely loses its way after that. 
 

I really, really, really want to root for her but the music is just not hitting the way that it should. I really thought she was on to something with IHWTHW and Cute Aggression, but the rest of the album is shaping up to be extremely bland.

She has a beautiful voice but the arrangement of the track is too basic.

The instrumental kinds tries to built but I wish there was like a whole orchestra at the climax and the ending having like a choir. If she wanted to go for a more traditional pop ballad, just go all out and go full diva ballad. Be as dramatic as possible.

She sang her a** off 

It's nothing special 

But I like the lyrics

She has the voice for ballads but she needs stronger material.

Oh... This album is shaping up to be very, very boring and uninspired. I'm not expecting a hidden gem at this point, we've had a taste of the album plenty. Looks like she bought a bunch of songs and quickly gathered an album so she can drop it off as early as she can to be with her family.

I don't disagree that Perrie's priority is her family but according to her, the majority of the album was refreshed with new songs which were written / recorded earlier this year. It might not be a skipless masterpiece but Perrie has put some effort into finishing her album now rather than waiting even longer for a reason.

 

Whether or not that's just to focus on family and leave music after P1 or to enjoy motherhood and comeback with P2 is unknown atp.
