But yes, Mayhem is considered to be the frontrunner for the Best Pop Vocal Album award at the 2026 Grammys. Do we think that competitors like Sabrina Carpenter or Justin Bieber have the edge over Gaga… or is her win officially locked now that we heard Sabrina's album?

Do not include such an impressive return to form and the excellent pop album that is MAYHEM in the same sentence as Justin Bieber's flop.

 

Yes, MAYHEM's Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and potentially Album of the Year is SAFE, even after miss Carpenter's rushed LP release to capitalize on her Espresso momentum.

Pop album is a lock, and so is Dance Recording if she submit Abra there. Disease probably won't win pop solo given it's a hard listen even to Grammy voters. In GF het competition is not Sabrina/Justin, they probably couldn't even get nominated in the first place.

'Man's Best Friend' is probably gonna take it from Gaga, but i do think Sabrina nailed the 80s vibe more anyway.

Also, pop voters rightfully love Gaga. I still remember her winning the Grammy for Best Pop Song for Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?) against bigger hits in 2019. 

The Grammys love rewarding mediocrity so I can see Mayhem being the front runner
