Given the people she collaborates with (homophobic mega church pastor), keeps in close personal orbit (transphobic MAGA husband), or enmeshes her celebrity with (Morgan Wallen) we can deduce that she is at least conservative. She hasn't spoken about LGBTQ rights once in her 15-year long career in the public eye, kinda odd considering the large organic queer fanbase she has.

 

I get the feeling that she wishes she could cosplay as a conservative Southern woman in peace without being surrounded by a bunch of lisping yas queeners at her concerts. It's ******* up the image she's trying to portray and new conservative audience she's trying to court.

She's one of the only mainstream gay icons that doesn't exploit her queer audience in interviews, visuals, and social media by constantly pandering, baiting or virtue signalling. Shes aware of us all, but when she meets her fans, I can attest, she see's the individual and not aspects of the individual and she treats everyone the same.
