Why was your body never HUGE

Featured Replies

What was supposed to be Christina Aguilera's comeback single in 2012, Your Body, debuted and peaked at #34. Why was it never huge?

I know there was like no promo for it. Could that have helped?

but to answer your question, it's because they didn't release the Explicit version

I'm not American so vegetables exist in my country :pancake:

I kinda wish it had been. I would have liked its success to have justified Christina's further commitment to more videos/ singles beyond "Just A Fool", which wasn't really in keeping with the album sonically.

I think it's well known there was a lot of arm twisting and black mail involved to get her to work with Max Martin and when "Your Body" failed, she was glad to have the excuse to walk away from the project as soon as she could.

Title is giving hit thread!

Kinda depressing to think this was her last truly perfect solo single. Since Telepathy wasn't really one, now that's a super underrated song.
