"Manchild" the lead single from Sabrina Carpenter's sophomore era is one of the most stable singles of this year and it still charting in the Top 5 WW of Spotify and Apple Music.

 

Despite all the hate that the song received during it first two tweeks including all the hate to the album cover she has managed to pull one of the biggest singles (so far) of 2025 and that is part of her marketing strategy!!!

Some of you really need to look up the meaning of the phrase "aged like a fine wine".

This song is like a week old so I would hope so 

Well….. yes! I hated the first listen, but it grew a lot on me.

I think it is okay, there are some songs that get better with every listen.

it has been almost one month since the release of manchild.

I hated 'Manchild' the first time I heard, but now I'm lowkey addicted The chorus is so catchy

I'm not a Carpenter fan but she proved that all that hate means nothing, the same happens with other artists here like Tate reaching #1 with Morgan and Dua still selling out stadiums.

 

The only ones that are still flopping are Camila and Miley.

It's been three weeks, it hasn't any time to age at all. My god. 

i liked it with my first listen though i had thought Sabrina had done better . it grew on me more with each listen and  think it is among Sabrina's best as well among the best released this year overall.

It was a grower for me too bc it's not as bombastic as Espresso. That song set the expectations way too high

Espresso was totally different, everyone liked the song at the first listen.

No one is the owner of saying "aged like fine wine" calm down.

mabye you should go out and touch some grass instead of telling people that they are wrong for their opinions 

imo, after aging for approximately 3 weeks , the song brings nothing new, fresh or interesting to the table
