    In the zone for me. 20 times better!   Blackout is extremely overrated & people do too much with it. It's not that serious!

    I always go back and forth on this one    In The Zone feels like the most Britney album. It's her baby, her statement as an artist. It's where she experimented the most as well.  

The way I used to always say Blackout was better but In the Zone has really been revealing itself in a whole new way for me recently…. :jonny: It's literally perfection versus perfection. I'll still give Blackout a slight edge for innovation but it's really close.

    I feel like it's 51% Blackout and 49% In The Zone for me

     

    But please replace I've Just Begun (Having My Fun) with Girls & Boys since it was a proper bonus track and you forgot Touch of my hand

    In the Zone will always be the better album, but Blackout is also a masterpiece and has more recognition

    But Blackout is just SO damn good. It's the pinnacle of raunchy, dirty club music. A reference point for so many future music to come.

    In The Zone for me. Blackout was insane but ITZ is just THEEE Britney Spears. Sexy, edgy, confident, still has a little old Britney in there. Iconic

    I get the discussion over which album is better, but how is anyone voting for Blackout as more iconic? :huh:
     

    I know it's gotten some retrospective recognition in pop spaces over the years, which is great, but let's be real the vas majority of people would not be familiar with it. Especially against In The Zone who has arguably her most recognizable hit.

    In the Zone is the most Britney album you can get. If I wanted to introduce someone to her, it's what I would play them.

    How is the poll voting so close between ITZ and Blackout, but the comment section is dominated by In The Zone? :what:

    I personally prefer Blackout cos I'll always have a soft spot for more edgy, less refined production. 
     

    I'll concede that ITZ is probably a better pure pop album, but my heart will always say Blackout :heart2: 

     

    If either one of these albums were in some other MPGs discographies, it would be their best, and yet Britney has both… Next to each other in her discography :jonny5:

    Tbh Blackout.

     

    When I revisit ITZ I don't always want to hear some of the cuts. Blackout I can pretty much ride all the way through no matter what. That doesn't take away what ITZ delivers though.

     

    I also just feel like Blackout overcoming what people expected during that tumultuous time gives it an aura. Like most of us truly expected that to be a terrible album based on the circumstances. But once Gimme More dropped and then the demos leaked before release- we knew we were in for a great ride.
