A pop masterpiece  Glam  Monday Morning  You Lost Me Birds of Prey Elastic Love  I Am  Stronger Than Ever Bionic  Lift Me Up

Her BEST album, in my book - and one of my favorite albums from a pop girl ever. From day 1, I was obsessed.  I remember being hyped for it leading up to release since I loved the droplets and once it was released, having it on repeat a lot - especially back in my World of Warcraft days, I would listen to it while leveling characters. I also recall having it on a lot during my freshman year of college walking around campus (especially my top tracks).

I love the entire album from start to finish! It makes me so sad how memed on this album is from the pop fans because of its performance. The material is great!! So under appreciated! Its one of those albums that I simply can't get how any music fan can dislike it??

She really delivered an album that was full of what made her her while also serving a different portion for those who were searching for what was popular back then in sounds. Lucky for me, I loved both sides (though my preference is for the more Christina-like tracks as you'll see below)! I also think the tracklisting order was mostly quite smart, which is hard to do for an album of this size in tracks!

My top tracks are Birds of Prey, Stronger Than Ever, Lift Me Up, You Lost Me, Little Dreamer, All I Need, Monday Morning and I Am.

Sorry, can't narrow that down to 5. They're all pretty equal.

Full track ranking:

S+: Birds of Prey ≥ Stronger Than Ever ≥ Lift Me Up ≥ You Lost Me ≥ Little Dreamer ≥ All I Need ≥ Monday Morning ≥ I Am

Great: Not Myself Tonight ≥ Desnudate ≥ Prima Dona ≥ Vanity ≥ Elastic Love

Good / Okay: Woohoo ≥ My Girls ≥ Bionic ≥ Sex For Breakfast ≥ Glam ≥ I Hate Boys ≥ Bobblehead

Need to give it some streams then

The aesthetic for this album were srsly top notch. IMO it's her last album that had a fully well-executed concept and the last time she seemed full invested in a record which is sad that the flopping caused her to lose that drive cause no one does a concept album like Xtina.

2nd most pirated album of 2010 - The girls were tuned in

Love that Glam is getting it's moment

Not Myself Tonight, Stronger Than Ever, Birds of Prey and Desnudate are some favs from the album  :clap3:

Literally my favorite Xtina album. Perfect pop bops. Quality ballads. Aesthetics on point. I wouldn't mind another electro influenced album from ha!

I remember not liking it the first time I listened to it; I wasn't used to that type of sound from her. I didn't listen to it for a couple of years until I randomly revisited it sometime in 2012 and I just fell in love with it. It just really clicked for me in a way it didn't the very first time I listened to it. It actually is a fantastic album! I wish she'd acknowledge it, herself, for its 15th anniversary. I know things were a little wonky for her for the release of this album, but it's an album she should be proud of.

Gorgeous album photoshoot, her best by far. I feel like things would've turned out so much better had they trimmed all the cheesy filler and just dare let the album stand for what it was, a futuristic upbeat electropop album. There's a good album somewhere in there, she just can't not do an overly bloated album.

Brings back so many memories though, I remember exactly where I was the first time I listened to it.

I said what I said.

I'm afraid that it's time still has not come, and might never.

If you're into Pop culture and you live it, you KNOW Bionic. And you can't say that about many albums.

In retrospect I think she succeeded. And I hope whatever energy or drive she had inside back then reignites stronger than ever.

An album with some much potential but terrible execution. That's why I've said she's never had a clear artistic vision or direction because how are you going to put Bird Of Prey and Not Myself Tonight in the same album.

Birds of Prey, Little Dreamer, The ballads, Monday Morning and Elastic Love are great songs.

Adding this would've made the album 10 times better

But unfortunately she lacked the vision and execution to present a cohesive body of work.

this classic! :clap3: thanks for this reminder, as I needed an album to listen to when I do the audit in a bit for this shift. goddamn… this is a pop bible for the ages! in my ideal world, tracks 9-13 would've been relegated to bonus track status and all the bonus tracks would've been standard edition :gaycat2: but overall just a very conceptually cool album that deserved so much better. I was 13 when it was released in 2010, and that was the year that I became super invested as a music listener, whereas I had already written music since I was 8. I fell in love with pop in 2010 in a way I never knew I could :gaycatina1: and Xtina was one of many to serve EXCELLENCE that year! 2010 remains a top 10 year in music of all time for me tbh

I wasn't big on it, however it was a ahead of it's time :clap3:

It was such a bold move. I love NMT but it was the worst choice as lead single. Glam, as it was planned in 2009, would have smashed and everything would have been different.

I'm glad she's not shying away from it. She truly learnt to embrace it and it's probably her most talked-about album after Stripped - it's pretty great coming from someone who ignores most of her discography.

BIRDS OF PREY is the hidden gem of this album/era.

It was def "ahead of it's time" and could still be released now as a single and do well!

I really enjoyed Bionic and it was the last album I feel Christina was truly in her prime. She was always so creative, really into the songwriting and lyrics. I loved a lot of the extra tracks like Birds of Prey, Stronger Than Ever, etc. Stripped is THAT GIRL and Bionic is right behind it for me. Her greatest song of all time tho is Dreamy Eyes.

damn Woohoo is actually exactly as brilliant as I remember it always being :jonny5: what the f*ck were they thinking with those single choices though? Woohoo gives gay classic, incredible one in fact but it was NEVER a good idea to have it be a single

like I can see drag queens performing Woohoo for years to come, but it was never single material. when I was 13, I was obsessed with Hot 99.5, which was the big pop radio station in the DMV (where I grew up) and I have a very vivid memory of one morning being in the car with my dad otw to school and the DJs were discussing how Woohoo had been released as a single and how they all guessed what it was gonna be about and then concluding and laughing about how they'd never play it on the station :tornado:

The fact that she only released TWO (not counting the Spanish one) albums since then is insane. She kinda gave up and it's sad!

Stan twitter is putting the FLOP tag on Katy Perry but for me it has always been Xtina's Bionic especially back on oldTRL.

Like what are these videos, especially 2:06 onwards:bibliahh:

It's now 61, I can't —

Not my Bionic, not my bionic
