    I like Marina but girl whatever. That "beef" was always one sided cuz Marina thought she invented fruit as an aesthetic and of course after the GSC remix she'd try to squash the beef. Marina and Charli make very different music so there's no need for a collab :clap3:

    the "beef" was always one sided…love marina but this woman was in the industry long enough to know better than to publicly blast charli over a campaign that she had zero creative input in. :rip:

    TLDR at some point Charli did a photoshoot with the exact same photographer that shot Marina's self-funded FROOT campaign, and it was clearly inspired by it, and Marina famously commented:

    This was after years of them being compared 'cause they had a similar sound/appeal (at least during Electra/Sucker - Charli wasn't known for hyperpop yet), same label, similar looks, etc.

    I never understood why when she debuted before her and did the whole EH complex theme first.
