I really appreciate everything about your response. I think you might've read a little more depth into my post than was actually there—it was literally just the first thing that popped into my head when I saw (insert any singer) + mall.

Why would she release another single from a failed era that was rejected widely? Mind you, I enjoyed the album and saw her on tour, but I don't think she would extend this era which has been all around bad for her image and brand. The best move would be to launch a new era or standalone single that doesn't stink of the dr luke controversy.

There's 3 options

 

It really is KP7's hard launch, which would be an incredibly dull time as she won't drop the album till at least close to the summer (to not clash with christmas, award season, and then 0 promo spots)

Crush video just to keep the era "going" as she still has the summer tour to come, sorta like Hey Hey Hey

Random droplet that might eventually get tacked in on the next album (or be a stand alone like Rise)
