I really think something big happened and boiled over suddenly, they didn't mention the split was mutual, and the "amicable" descriptor could easily be just to avoid drama. Things seemed more than fine until recently, I just don't believe Midnights was any indication and was actually just her opening up about past traumas finally due to her security/confidence nowadays, rather than hinting about anything. Also the change of invisible string to the 1 on the setlist... I think she had to axe that song or something when it finally fell through. Anyway, enough analyzing this relationship that I know nothing about. Hope they're both okay.

 

Agree with all of this I hope both of them are doing alright.

I don't think marriage and children are a priority for Taylor tbh. I don't see her ever slowing down her career to have a conventional, platitudinous life. I think she knows she has a legendary musical legacy she's built so far and it'll be such a waste to throw that away and slow it down to have kids. The best thing for her is if she finds a mature, 40+ man who already has kids and who only wants to be with her for her. She's always been into older men and now that she's in her 30s and mature enough to stand her ground she should go for it. I can't wait for her Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo moment, it's either going to be the next album or a book she releases at the end of her career detailing the sacrifices she made to build her legacy .

I mean there was another piece fed to People by Tree about how Taylor and Joe's relationship was going strong and that they had plans for him to see her on tour as much as possible like two weeks ago. Either the relationship was fine then, or it was some sort of cover-up to try and ward off other leaks about their relationship ending before Tree could get the information out herself

I don't care about Taylor's private life, but if I was her and I wanted people to stop talking about it I'd drop international dates (South America / AUS & NZ) right after, for example. Or the Speak Now TV release date. She can choose.

People keep saying this, but she would never do it. Releasing them all the same week would mean choosing to give up 3 easy #1 albums. Like. Taylor Swift would never do that.

But I'm curious to see if she starts opening up more and being a bit more interactive with fans, or doing more promo type stuff to lean into us, if she doesn't have this relationship anymore to obsessively protect. Just a bit of an observational thought, don't read too much into it.

Well, she's been super active on tiktok since the tour started and I'm sure all these shows have been a good distraction but I guess we'll have to see if she behaves any differently now that she knows we know

I had this hunch a while ago and I shared it with you guys. I think Taylor cheated on Joe with Jack Antenoff and I think he found out and couldn't bring himself to forgive her. I genuinely think he left.

 

I was sure she would take a longer break after Eras tour and get married and start family. Guess not, I hope she is ok
