pretty sure thats because they are living in their own fantasy world and never really experienced this kind of boost. atleast they got the 2 million tweets. something they can brag i guess.

It's one thing that Gaga cleared the poll but with so many damn VOTES :bibliahh: also notice how the only ppl for the most part that are defending her are her stans only. The world is healing ❤️

The fact that we are even still talking about Beychella 7 years later with this much passion says it all

This only proves that twitter is just an echo chamber especially in 2025.

Tiktok >>>

It's debatable, but let's be clear: Beyoncé's performance remains the most iconic. Gaga's, on the other hand, is one of the most spectacular the festival has ever seen.

This year Gaga delivered a cinematic show in several acts, an immersive experience conceived as a play in five chapters. Each segment had its own universe: cyberpunk dystopia, intimate piano confession, pop-dance explosion, electro rebellion, and an almost mythological finale. Costumes, lighting, choreography, transitions - everything was fine-tuned to the millimeter, both grandiose and theatrical. Gaga proved that she is an outstanding stage storyteller, capable of building an entire world in 90 minutes.

But Beyoncé in 2018 is another dimension. Beychella was more than a show: it was a statement. The first black woman to headline Coachella, she transformed the stage into a vibrant tribute to black American culture, with a live marching band, HBCU references, samples of Nina Simone, Malcolm X, and exceptional stage discipline. She didn't just perform, she taught, uplifted, transcended.

Gaga electrified. Beyoncé made history.

So Gaga outacclaimed and outcharted the other lady.

We have a winner here (apart from twitter vibes) :clap3:

Most people know this and would love to celebrate both equally. Beyoncé fans just don't like the concept that any other female artist can be put on the same pedestal as their queen :michael:

If Beychella was as irrelevant as this poll suggest ATRL wouldnt have 25+ page thread arguing over a 7 year old concert.

Lets see if Gagachella has this type of discourse over the next decade. Gaga is getting acclaim and priase and thats great but Beychella was a cultural statement...

Then no doubt it will become the most searched performance of all time :clap3:

Is this the next Twitter vibes?

We should lay it to rest and ask ChatGPT (I unfortunately posted this in the other thread, but it actually belongs in here. How do I get rid of the other post?)

Im interested in a comparison between Beyonce's Coachella performance and Lady Gaga's Coachella performance in 2025 in terms of their significance. Which one was more significant?

Love this question — it's like comparing two queens commanding their thrones in totally different ways. Let's break down their significance across different dimensions to figure out who made the bigger cultural dent: Beyoncé at Coachella 2018 (aka "Beychella") vs Lady Gaga at Coachella 2025 ("Mayhem in the Desert").

🎤 1. Cultural Impact

Beyoncé (2018):

  • First Black woman to ever headline Coachella.

  • Tribute to HBCU culture, Black excellence, and historical Black movements.

  • Performed with a full marching band + step dancers — it wasn't just a show, it was a statement.

  • Sparked think pieces, academic analysis, and even school curriculums.

Lady Gaga (2025):

  • A theatrical, surrealist exploration of identity, femininity, chaos, and rebirth.

  • Celebrated for artistic bravery and full creative control.

  • Elevated festival performances to avant-garde theater.

  • While impactful, its cultural resonance didn't hit as broadly across communities or demographics.

📣 Verdict: Beyoncé — her performance had sociopolitical and cultural reach.

🎨 2. Artistic Innovation

Beyoncé:

  • Choreography, vocals, and staging were flawlessly executed.

  • Used music, visuals, and interludes to tell a story — but still within a "concert" framework.

Gaga:

  • Designed her set like a five-act opera, blending high fashion, grotesque beauty, and stage storytelling.

  • Wore boundary-pushing couture pieces.

  • Turned Coachella into a theatrical art installation.

🎭 Verdict: Gaga — she pushed the live music format into surreal performance art.

💥 3. Cultural Reach & Lasting Legacy

Beyoncé:

  • Led to the Netflix documentary Homecoming.

  • Grammy-winning, culturally defining.

  • Set a new bar for what a festival headliner could and should be.

  • People still talk about Beychella as a once-in-a-generation event.

Gaga:

  • Universally praised as her most visionary live show yet.

  • Went viral, influenced high fashion and art circles.

  • May influence future theatrical tours and performances.

🕊️ Verdict: Beyoncé — the legacy is already sealed as historic; Gaga's may grow over time.

🔥 Final Verdict:

Beyoncé's Coachella 2018 performance remains more significant overall — especially for its cultural, social, and historical impact.
Lady Gaga's 2025 performance was more avant-garde and likely the most artistically ambitious performance Coachella has ever seen.

Both changed the game — just in different languages:
👑 Beyoncé spoke to history, identity, and community.
🖤 Gaga spoke to chaos, beauty, and surrealism.

No mention of a "Gagachella", Bey winning.. Would ChatGPT lie? Or would little Monsters? I guess you have to fake more reviews for ChatGPT to believe you

What do u think Gen Alpha and Beta will be doing? They will only.use ChatGpT and other AI to do their research, so well, there u go. I'd rather trust ChatGPT than Little Monsters, that much is true, cause its very good at summarizing the data that it can find online. Way better than most humans

Will the general public (outside of the 600+ ATRLiens) still be talking about Lady Gaga's Coachella set 7 years later and comparing it to others??! Is it so mind-blowing that it'll get a documentary that is critically-acclaimed? These are the questions Little Monsters have to ask themselves while they're listening to Harlequin s:wan:

The older generation really needs to learn, how AI works and how reliable it is for information.
