  1. and the irony is wild. this is coming from the same artist who once said artists dont release albums anymore, they just drop quick little singles and burn out. meanwhile, that same artist entire album is getting outstreamed by a bunch of those quick little singles.
  2. does anyone remember her last tour when the empty seats were outnumbering the people who actually bought tickets again, streams dont equal people actually paying to see you. at least taylor writes her stuff and can actually sell tours. so does beyonce. therefore taylor > bey >>>>>>> rihana starpower rihanna.. know your lane.
  3. in what world does the gp know rihanna more than bey or taylor celebrity wise?she basically is the khardasian of pop. touring wise shes not even close. the public isnt lining up or paying to see her the way they do for other girls. navy act like a few streaming songs suddenly put her above artists who dominate every platform, every metric, every era.
  4. u are delusional if u think rih is bigger than taylor. her songs might spam the charts because of the algorithm, but she is just a fraction of what is taylor right now. she cannot even tour and gross more than what the gross of some other girls. she is just lucky she appeal to the masses and beyonce went to the polarizing route.
  5. this rihanna has a big head. shes earning more through fenty, which is probably why she isnt releasing music. but i also think shes hesitant to drop a full-length album because it could risk a music downfall. she got lucky with the algorithm, and her music appeals to straights. she isnt polarizing which added to her appeal, and some people who are scared to listen to beyonce choose rihanna instead. in a way, her songs are bigger than her name. she may be bigger than beyonce. but this girl isnt getting near beyonce when it comes to impact. let alone against taylor. rihanna, know your lane.
  6. hives be serious. THE was never a smash nor a hit. it had a cute lil moment for a few weeks, then vanished like every other micro trend. not a flop, just a trend. people acting like it was some cultural reset when it barely lasted a month lol.
  7. its honestly a good song atleast for me. or maybe i just love disco/funk in general
  8. this honestly a good take, i agree. whenever gaga goes too generic, it just doesnt land unless its a ballad. shes built her legacy on being weird and bold, and even if people find it strange at first, shes the only artist who can truly own it. gaga doesnt need to play it safe or go the hac route anymore; her brand of pop is one of a kind and thats what keeps her essential. heck even the name gaga means crazy in my language. she has to own it.
  9. i get u. but i think the narrative is shifting. with streaming now a huge part of the game, touring isnt the only measure of star power anymore. rihanna has built an empire where shes not just relying on tours (or as if she ever was in the first place), her streams, catalog, and brand moves are massive. if we look at taylor swifts case, she proves this point: even though she might outgross bey on tours, her streaming numbers and album sales are what make her arguably bigger than beyoncé in today's landscape. so mirroring your logic means miss swift is miles bigger than bey just becuase of touring which i definitely wont agrih. star power is multi-dimensional. its touring, yes, but also streams, sales, celebrity, and the ability to dominate attention across platforms (not talking abt pr media) here where i live, rihanna is still a household name compared to a beyonce.
  10. this is unfair to rihanna because even on hiatus, rihanna effortlessly dwarfs bey stats daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. theyre just not on the same level. maybe 10 yrs ago. but clearly we should now know who is the bigger star. as for gaga and katy, no matter how successful either becomes, theyll always be boatmates. theyre the only ones who sparked the legendary fan feud wars: Roar vs Applause, so intense it got a whole glee episode dedicated to them. for britney, its always been xtina.
  11. katy perry will always have the hype. i feel like she should really go back to pop rock and with gaga doing grunge rock (hopefully) and beyonce doing rock as well on act3, i feel like the genre will have its revival. im rooting for katy even if her fans are the most delusional people i know online.
  12. people u mean ogh? literally the gp knows dwas fit in mayhem more than disease and abracadabra hahaha the way the peeps i know were shock that they thought the album would sound more the likes of abra
  13. but we know gaga would go to yang if its a yin since most of the time she is stubborn and has a fear of getting a hit.
  14. just annoyed that jessica only sung the bruno parts altho i understand because gaga aside from her verses just sang the harmony on the track. i remember the recent gaga interview with rolling stone where she said she hopes people know her for harmonizing. she really doesnt need to worry, i think even casual listeners are already aware of her vocal skills.
  15. these are some godly tracks i cant even rank them lol but i know disease is my number 1.
