I don't believe this. Telephone wasn't even performed at Coachella (which according to the Hive, made no noise outside the monsters)

Gaga's show was clearly better overall but much of the BeyHive don't want to admit it. Bey's is second best ever all details considered but that doesn't take away from her legacy or prowess as a performer as well. Gaga's was just on a different level.

I was there at Coachella and can assure you some algorithm adding up the number of times someone says "Lisa" on Twitter isn't an accurate representation of the overall most talked about performances of the weekend

 

Gaga was literally talked about all weekend and she was clearly the best headliner—that's not even marginally debatable. She actually ruined the rest of the weekend for some because her show Friday night was so immaculate it was quite literally incomparable.

according to u guys,  gaga's coachella made no impact, yet "telephone" (which she didn't even perform) suddenly jumped in streams like it got a call from the charts themselves. now it's gaga's 12th most streamed and beigh's 2nd yesterday...

either they're accidentally streaming the wrong artist or beigh's recent releases got them hitting skip like it's cardio.

As someone who was there this is just factually inaccurate. Gaga was the best performer of the weekend and many were saying the best of all time. Saying "no one saw or cared" about Gaga's show is asinine and completely delusional.

Those jump in streams were not random and were clearly because of Gagachella.

Gaga's show is mega viral on tiktok with many videos with millions of likes and tens of millions of views.  It's funny y'all are comparing twitter from 2018 when it was actually a thing to now when it's just a right wing echo chamber and lowkey irrelevant with much smaller userbase than it was back then, but ignoring Tiktok.

Tiktok is the biggest platform currently by far and Gagachella is ALL over it. Hence why Gaga's show is actually resulting in huge increases on streaming for a huge chunk of Gaga's discography.
