A numerous group of female artists had been received a big lack of support from their record labels, but which one of them is the WORST?

Some says that Columbia, Epic, Interscope, RCA, Atlantic, etc.

Considering how everyone seems to complain about their fave's label I'd say it's a joint tie between all of them

RCA has been notoriously awful to its artists for like 20+ years.

they went out of business for about a decade, held artist hostage in contracts, burned MULTIPLE distribution deals, threaten to harm jojo acting agent, forced jojo to do hcg and only eat 500 calories a day, possibly killed Aaliyah, took all their artists off streaming for over a decade, stole money, introduced Aaliyah to r Kelly and covered for him, had a shooting at their office

 

all this for them to come back a decade later after being defunct. What I don't get is they are signing artist. Like I can't believe anyone would be stupid or desperate enough to sign with them. Hell just go independent

RCA is the worst, career suicide for any artist tbh

At least American labels are simply incompetent at their jobs, for the most part. 

They don't deliberately sabotage their top artists like HYBE does, all based on the whims of their CEO, whose ego is as big as their weight on a scale.

 

 

The whole of Sony music entertainment is pretty dreadful and they have some notoriously terrible labels under them like RCA, and Columbia. They had Syco in the UK which was notorious for terrible contracts and sabotaging it's artists, all that Dr Luke stuff happened under them too.

RCA tried to kill Miley's career. The way they fumbled Plastic Hearts and the way how Miley needed to apologize to fans because physical copies weren't in stores at the release date and weren't shipped at the release week because of RCA's mess 😭 Miley wrote like entire letter how RCA is shitty label and then left them. Mind you, her entire album leaked 8 months before the release and her vinyls were shipped in JULY of 2021, 8 months AFTER the album release
