Opened the thread and saw someone comparing it to Camila Cabello, I'm astounded by the audacity. 

 

It's a great song, loved the first part more than the later, but it's enough to show that the album will have much more range than ESV. That said, this works best as a deepcut. She probably decided to drop this first to set the tone of the album.

i like the ballad parts  but the rock parts sort of ruin the flow for me . maybe it will grow on me.

LOVE it  I watched the music video along with the song as a first listen but that was a mistake cause it sounds way better without the video lol. Or maybe it's just a grower.

I like this a lot and I can see the break growing on me but at first it doesn't seems like an organic build up but it's not annoying at all.

 

I thought this was the Brittany song she worked with since it sound a lot like her music. You can see she's inspired by Alabama Shakes on this record and I'm here for it! 

I have no idea what to think of this. This is unusual and sounds weird. I don't hate it but I don't like it. This is definitely not the type of music I'm gonna use though. This might be her first miss in a long time in my opinion and I can't imagine it doing good commercially. I'll give it one or two more listens to give it a chance.

Oh wow this is actually great  I didn't expect something like this from Miley, excited for the album.

 

Also, people worried about the commercial success of this song  this will obviously flop, but I think Miley knows it will and she doesn't care, if she wanted success she would make Flowers 2.0, this time it's arts not the charts.

I would love Lana to make music like this.

Had a feeling this album was going to sound exactly like this, and I'm not mad about it. Doesn't feel like a 'single' but I'm curious to hear the rest of the album cuts. Already infinitely more interesting than most of ESV.

 

Seriously one of this time's most diverse artists.

I can't believe after 10 years of her best album she's releasing his little sister to the world.

I'd like to see how she develops over the next 10 years. She still doesn't really have a "sound", just tries things on and pulls them off well (which a lot of pop artists can't). But if she gets more experimental the older she gets it would be really cool to see!

This is a bit too experimental for my taste, but good for her for being edgy and trying new sounds.
