This French classic  Alizée and Mylène were such a powerful duo

For some reason everyone in Mexico was obsessed with this performance, I remember it so vividly

 

 

The melody to this one is so catchy. A total ear worm.

Alizée was the French pop star with the most potential. Gourmandises is a perfect teen pop album. 
 

J'en ai marre is one of her best songs and i'm still gagging from that TV performance

Lorie and Priscilla were never made to last, they were pop girls for children (Lorie did try to mature her sound but she instantly flopped #justicepour2lorenmoi)

 

Vitaa never changed her sound and is still serving the same whiny slop since 2007, the french GP hates reinvention, it also helps that she stayed in the spotlight through multiple TV gigs and latched onto Slimane to boost her career when she started declining

 

Shym's career was so sad though, she's really had it all but she couldn't stick to one sound and kept jumping between Mylène-lite pop and R&B, ultimately the GP gave up on her

Lorie and Shy'm were like super low-budget versions of US pop music trends lol. They would never last. 

(although Lorie lasted quite a long time all things considered. she had like 5 hit albums and a bunch of huge tours. Which is funny because it was such low-quality pop that her whole aesthetic would look cheap even for the UK and other European countries lol)
