Miley might be my favorite artist at the moment tbh. She's so versatile, her personality is to die for, she's always VERY authentic and none of that pretentious **** that other female popstars do, and

Every Girl You've Ever Loved kinda serving Donna Summer production whew

I'm speechless, what an experience this was. Miley! Girl you have done it again, constantly raising the bar for us all and doing it flawlessly. I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I know who you are, I've seen it up close and personal. Girl you make me so proud, and I love you.

Something Biblical is already right up there with Perfect Hymns and Dead Sinnerz as another of her best ever works.

I hope whatever she was teasing next follows in the vein of the second half of the album, Miley seems to be really really good at making cigpop (though I don't want it for a little while, we've just been fed such a delicious meal). Oh girls I'm so pleased, this will tide me over for several months. Thank you Milene :chick1:

The outro of Every Girl You've Ever Loved giving Break My Soul Queens Remix :WAP:

The album is musically very good and ambitious. 'End of the World', 'EGYEL' and 'Walk of Fame' are the best tracks, but I can see the general public having a hard time with the album, as it doesn't have a mainstream hit despite its qualities. Moreover, it really feels like there are two albums in one, and the first part doesn't work in favor of the second. Inversely

Here is my review but I'm going to need some time to fully take in the album as a whole.

Its very well made but it kind of feels...boring? As if the songs kind of blend into the other. I'll give it a few more spins and hope something sticks. So far EoW is the clear highlight imo

First run finished, I'm really loving it. Every Girl You Ever Loved and Walk Of Fame with the singles are the highs of the album. I'm sure ill be obsessed with it just like ESV

Thoughts after first listen:

  • Walk of Fame, Every Girl You've Ever Loved and Reborn are her best songs ever.
  • Incredible production, especially the second half.
  • The second half is my favorite, yes, but the first half is really good too. It is overshadowed a bit, though, looking back.
  • Give Me Love is the perfect closing song.
  • Personally, More To Lose and Pretend You're God didn't do much for me (the latter may grow on me, though).
  • I don't get the people saying she ruined Golden Burning Sun? She turned a somewhat decent song into a great song.

If that ain't the gospel!:jonny2: I keep on listening to these three and wondering how did somebody even come up with these sounds. It feels like they are more than just songs.

haven't listened to all of it but this sounds like the album she was trying to make since Plastic Hearts, I really like what im hearing

I will be checking this out tomorrow! What are the certified bops?

The key change in the instrumental before the outro in Walk Of Fame does things to me.

I have yet to listen to this but it sounds I'll be disappointed? I love rock Miley, so the song Something Beatuiful was perfect for me.

It seems that's the only one like that in any sense? No other rock like sounds and more dance ones?

There are rock moments for sure.

Amazing record. There is not a single bad song here. I just wished the melodies in the second half were more pop but she slayed with the production so it's ok.

It's her best and most consistent album so far.

A strong album. Which makes the single choices even more baffling.

It should have been:

01 End Of The World

02 Easy Lover

03 Walk Of Fame

04 Golden Burning Sun

Really like Every Girl You've Ever Loved & Reborn as well. Definitely a better album than Endless Summer Vacation.
