METTE - 'COMING OF AGE'
The article is mine, written a few days ago, but if she removed the date from her Linktree, it might mean the album has been pushed back. It doesn't even show up under "Upcoming Releases" on her Spotify page anymore

METTE - 'COMING OF AGE'
So the album has been pushed back? On one hand, I get it since there are so many releases that day, but I don't think it'll really make a difference for her... https://the-melting-pop.blogspot.com/2026/07/adela-ellie-goulding-elley-duhe-mette.html I'm still really looking forward to it though. I've loved the first three singles.

The September 4 pop bloodbath: which album are you rooting for?
Totally agree about HWD, but Red Bottoms is actually my least favorite track from Adèla.

The September 4 pop bloodbath: which album are you rooting for?
On September 4, several pop girls are dropping brand new albums: Adèla, Ellie Goulding, Elley Duhé, METTE, and Rebecca Black. Which album are you the most excited for? Personally, I can't wait for METTE and Rebecca Black's albums, but I'll definitely be tuning in for Ellie Goulding too because I really loved Higher Than Heaven. What about you? Lauren Bennett passed away (G.R.L, Paradiso Girls)
So sad. :'( I still listen to "Ugly Heart" and "Lighthouse" all the time. They had so much potential as GRL...

Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
Wow! This album is actually so good. "Bring Your Love" is one of the weaker tracks on the project, but they probably picked it as the single because the collab was bound to get people talking. "Danceteria" is a massive banger, but "Bizarre" might just be my favorite track, also "Read My Lips" is a really good guilty-pleasure my review Madonna surprenante et à la hauteur de son talent sur "CO...Madonna reprend son trône avec "Confessions II' un album dance à la hauteur de son talent

Sevdaliza - 'Antifragility'
I really love her early work, and Shabrang is absolutely stunning! I'm glad she broke through with Alibi, but honestly I wasn't a huge fan of the album that followed. That said, there's something I find a bit odd. For years, she has presented herself as a fully independent artist, and now she's saying that a "label" wants her to land a hit before they'll let her release more music. Did she sign somewhere? I like her a lot, but this whole label story feels a little bit "pick me" to me. And the new track sounds kind of meh from what I've heard so far it feels like she's trying to chase another trend again.

My favorite is Coyote Ugly but Burlesque is also AMAZING ! Crossroad is cute. Never seen Glitter.

Tori Kelly - 'God Must Really Love Me'
Nobody is talking about this album!? It's a really enjoyable listen, even if it's less immediate than TORI. But she has truly found herself artistically. I wasn't a fan when she first started, but she's really found her own style. "Dive" and "Hurts So Good" are definitely the highlights my review Tori Kelly : "God Must Really Love Me", un album spiritue...Tori Kelly de retour avec "God Must Really Love", un album spirituel mais accessible, la review / critique sur The Melting POP.

Lykke Li - 'The Afterparty'
To me, this album feels like the brighter version of 'I Never Learn,' which is my favorite album in her discography MUNA : "Dancing on the Wall" / Lykke Li : "The Afterparty...MUNA : "Dancing on the Wall" / Lykke Li : "The Afterparty" - les critiques sur le grill

MUNA - 'Dancing On The Wall'
I had loved their previous album, which was packed with hits! 'What I Want' is truly a masterpiece. Here, the singles had left me a little underwhelmed. I streamed them once and then moved on but the album is good. It's dirty, politically charged, and it actually fits well with the rest of their discography in the end. Maybe they just didn't choose the right singles. my review MUNA : "Dancing on the Wall" / Lykke Li : "The Afterparty...MUNA : "Dancing on the Wall" / Lykke Li : "The Afterparty" - les critiques sur le grill

Gin Wigmore - Country Diamond
Glad she's back ! I always love her voice. "blood to bones" remains her best body of work

Melanie C - 'Sweat'
I preferred the previous album, which was packed with hits, but this one is well made too! I prefer her in the punchy energy of "Sweat," "Drum Machine," and "Pressure." but "One track mind" is also very her my review https://the-melting-pop.blogspot.com/2026/04/melanie-c-en-mode-sporty-spice-sur.html
