this album is easily top 3 this year - the second half is classic after classic. the only weak song is Easy Lover imo, she should've kept that one

GML was so strange because there is a visual on par with the others... all she had to do was make it full screen and put the credits afterwards instead. it would've made a much better ending.

for me it was the weakest visual actually (also GML is a song that i like the least of the album so)

Don't get me wrong, there are some AMAZING songs. But idk, there is just something off with this album that still hasn't clicked with me a month later, which is a little sad for me.

i fully agree with this and have felt it from the start. it's visibly flawed in a way that her other albums aren't. it's not worse, and the great songs are holding up really well, but the execution really holds it back. Miley shows some resentment for ESV and Plastic Hearts etc, but they actually delivered their vision and final product quite well. once again it's not an issue of quality, just some frustrating creative and marketing choices.

yeah, i just meant it's her singing and posing with a cool outfit just like the others. in my theatre, people got up as soon as the credits came on so they didn't even hear the song

The movie being ONE NIGHT ONLY sucks ass, because I wanna see it again! 

The film is coming to Disney+/Hulu for the US on 7/16 and Internationally 7/30, for the US actually a little earlier than the leak suggested.

 

Manifesting the deluxe is released around the 16th to get us another week in the top 200!

Anyone saying this isn't her best body of work is just insane

Watching the visuals of GBS on a theather was such an experience. So simple but also so stunning.

exactly. thank god it was changed. it's close to flawless now (minus miley's voice quieter than the instrumentals). the dolby mix sounds better

The leafblower is cracking me up I love that Miley is helping direct it though, she was really super involved in behind the scenes stuff. The warehouse looks lowkey terrifying but its crazy what you can create in just a warehouse.

I know Pretend You're God was prob crazy bright in the warehouse  

 

The water in the warehouse though omg I'd be scared as **** slipping in heels!

yes its 10000x better. to me, it hugs miley's vocals instead of drowning them out. I have 24bit on my computer and I rarely listen to it because whoever produced the album really messed up miley's vocals to make them quieter. im sure it wasnt on purpose but miley is so quiet compared to the instrumentals

And for some reason in the lossless mix, the intro cuts at a weird time but on the dolby it actually transitions properly
